Badeli - you beat me to it. I share your view. This is a common Chinese requirement for signing-off on resource projects, ie, they want to drill a Chinese observed / monitored 'proof' well just to make sure the existing well data is true and honest. As you say, I think all boxes have been ticked by CMEC, and the well is final hurdle requirement from Chinese Government. Luckily coal deposits are laterally consistent in thickness and quality over huge areas (opposite to metals projects!), so extremely unlikely that the well results will differ from all the existing well data.

Hopefully the 4mln buy is one of the guys currently interpreting the KCB airborne data!

Rather than ‘topography’, CB may mean ‘Tomography’ which is a fairly standard workflow correction we apply when correcting seismic and various airborne data types for surface and shallow crust heterogeneities. Here is couple of links with simple explanation.

Also, on August 16th, I posted - “Typically they will get a quick EM early product within 1-2 weeks - this may provide early indications of major ore bodies, etc. The EM data will then be subjected to various types of processing to refine the image resolution. The timeframe for this depends on what they see in the early product, for example they may just decide to process / refine data over one portion of the area, or they may do so over the entire area. In the pre-covid world I would expect to receive fully processed final EM product in 2-3 months.”

The airborne EM survey commenced on 17th September, and RNS promised results by 31st October, which in my experience was an optimistic stretch promise. I do think we should have interpreted results before Xmas. Fingers crossed.

Good Q&A session. Hanno and Scott compliment each other well - Hanno has deep understanding of the project, and Scott has deep understanding of AIM market drivers. Scott does good job of clearly explaining how BoD have substantial skin in the game (Hanno has never previously addressed this). Scott is clearly fully committed to protect and grow value of his 17% stake in NCCL, which makes me comfortable that my ~1% stake is in good hands.

The only negative is decision to release a good interview at 5pm on a Friday. Lack of posts on this BB over weekend would agree.

I don’t have access to the article, but does the article really say 2.6 Billion Euros per year to PRD like you say, or does it say 2.6 Billion Euros in value of LNG will pass through the FSRU, and PRD will get paid tolling fees?

Not surprised he sneaked the RNS out 10 minutes before markets close!

The RNS clearly states "Once the Report is approved by both parties", so why would you expect to see costs in RNS that have not yet been approved and reviewed by CMEC?

I scooped a load more because the GE situation has made me more bullish on ultimate SP. I think the door is now fully open for Chinese to take full control of the project, and that includes NCCL buyout.

GGG - I purchased another 500k last week, to bring my average for 2.2mln shares down to 3.9p. The next few weeks are going to be very interesting!
