Over on the GLR board yesterday, someone commented on all the tiny trades, and someone posted the below response...

"Isn't it just people with Freetrade and similar apps: when you go shopping they allow you to round your purchase up to a couple of quid in your trading account."

Certainly some very strange small trades today. Im sure the conspiracy theorists will comment. Looks like GLR SP has got some wind in its sails.

This text on page 11 got my attention, and I guess is the bone of contention.
“The earlier process of granting Reconnaissance Permits on a first-come-first-served basis is replaced with a system of Non-Exclusive Reconnaissance Permits (NERP) (Section 10C, MMDR Act), but with no rights to proceed to prospecting or mining in case of evidence of mineralization. The Mineral (NERP) Rules 2015 issued under the Act specify the procedures. Section 10 C, which provides for the grant of the Permit, also states that a NERP holder shall have no right to claim for a prospecting license or a mining lease on the basis of his reconnaissance. The intention is that the data discovered in an NERP will be used to conduct further exploration by the government agencies so as to auction a mineral find. The NERP Rules 2015 states in Rule 4 (1) that the NERP holder can submit his data and ask the government to auction the find.”

Agreed - a backstop date for definitive ruling would help reduce uncertainty in a very bureaucratic system.

If you start listening to the interview at 46.42, Tony Truelove's exact words when referring to the court judgement are "Arguing the toss in the courts". This to me sounds like a 50:50 coin toss. How do others interpret those exact words (keep it clean!)

Kavango actually do a very good job of explaining the exploration process in layman terms. Worth GLR investors educating themselves by taking a look at Kavango website / podcasts, etc. Colin Bird is a good Geologist, but nearly always talks about deals and value, and not so much the exploration process.

Soil sampling will need to be directed by the EM results. Soil sampling can be relatively quick, but CV19 may well slow down movement of people and may slow down lab analysis - I don’t know current CV status in KCB.

Ella - I am an Exploration Geologist with 30+ years experience. The typical steps in a new exploration licence would be - 1) fly regional airborne gravity - magnetic survey to identify crustal anomalies that could possibly indicate metal ore bodies, 2) Boots on ground soil sampling in areas of airborne identified anomalies ( including sampling of termite mounds - mother nature’s scavenger borrowers!) to confirm raised metal trace elements in area of anomaly, 3) drill holes to test anomaly + soil sample hypothesis. Massively simplified explanation. Soil sampling is a cheap way to add confidence ahead of committing to drill spend. I’m very comfortable with the way KCB (and other GLR projects) are being progressed. One of my favourite deep value resource stocks.

Theosus - great video. I have been heavily invested in NCCL for three years and managed to miss that video! I knew that CMEC was a big organisation, but I hadn't realised that is was the mother juggernaut of conglomerates. The video reinforces my view that CMEC will just buy NCCLs 40% equity in the coal project. I also wonder if CMEC see any value in the GRIDX solar / battery storage part of the business! Very interesting six months ahead.
