Another interesting question is why have they said nothing about the progress of partnership talks for all this time. Ever since Demir left they've said nothing. They wait until the shares hit 2p, the lowest they've ever been, to give a bit of information. Why is that? Would it be so they can create a bit of a spike for a placing?

For the love of god look at the obvious. Whether they get a new partner or not they are running out of cash fast They screwed shareholders with a placing in October and they can do it again. Even if they get an agreement, unless it happens quickly that is what is going to happen again.

There is a question of cash here too and how much they have got left. Last raise was October and it wasn't a lot of money.

They've been talking about drilling at depth for years. That was one of the key things that was supposed to be tested by Demir. No explanation was ever given for why Demir wouldn't do it or why they walked away.

Is there some leak here? A lot of interest all of a sudden.

Oh yes a funding agreement or a JV. That would do the trick wouldn't it. Trouble is there's absolutely no evidence that will ever happen. Having your last JV partner walk isn't a ringing endorsement and they can't raise money to drill themselves without massive dilution.

If you think that they can replicate the trick that OMI have used of drilling very close to a good drill hole over and over then you're in for a shock. That won't work here because they don't have high grade gold at surface. What is going to stop the rot here? Your optimism?

I'm sure your advice of only a small buy with money you can lose will be a huge comfort to all the shareholders that have lost money in this money pit. Down 99.9% since listing and I think that's with a share consolidation.

I think only someone new to this company could be optimistic about it. They have destroyed shareholder value on a monumental scale over the last 25 years. People that bought in when Demir joined thought they might salvage something but it's gone from 40p to 2p in the last few years. Just one endless disaster this company. I dread to think what they've raised from shareholders over the years and never come close to mining any gold.

All OMI have done is keep drilling shallow holes close to where they already had a good result. What they have is a small high grade anomaly which is exactly what it was before. Newmont wouldn't be any more interested now than they were before.

Conroy Gold can't use that trick. They don't have high grade gold near surface.

Can't speak for anyone else but I have no short position. This share would have a big rerate if a new JV partner came in. The trouble is they haven't said a thing about a potential partner since Demir left. If they said they were having JV talks with one or more parties it would have stopped the rot but they say nothing. All you get from this lot is silence. That is why the share price has collapsed.

Funny enough Rio ended their JV with Karelian only a few months before their famous Argyle coloured diamond mine in Australia closed. They saw so much potential with Karelian that they couldn't be bothered to work with them anymore 😂

Load of gibberish. PDAC is a smokescreen. Same one being used by both of these failing companies. Off to PDAC and suddenly there's a queue of people ready to do a deal? Many, many trips to PDAC have resulted in nothing. If you have a project that people want you don't need PDAC.

No answer. Why do they have to go to PDAC to get a deal? All the companies at PDAC know Karelian. Do they have a phone? Do they have a computer? No need to go all the way PDAC. It's a fantasy saying they have to go to PDAC to do a deal. Nice little trip though.

You have to look at the history of kdr and cgnr. Both been around a long time. Both had JV partners walk away. Any long term holders in either wiped out long ago. So much emphasis on PDAC but they've been doing them for years and nothing has come of it. Why do they need PDAC? If someone was very keen on the assets they could do a deal without PDAC. They could contact either company and say they're interested in a deal. What difference is a stand at PDAC going to make? It's not like they're a new company that nobody has heard of.

Whether anyone agrees with me or not it doesn't really matter. People have voted with their feet. Anyone holding shares over the last 12 months has been thoroughly shafted. All the optimism in the world can't hide that.

I have no particular desire for the company to fold but the lack of any positive news or any hope of positive news is reflected in the share price. Quite a feat considering the performance of gold over the last year.

When you say you have no intention of engaging with silly negative posting do you mean anyone who asks perfectly valid questions. Questions like why no update on JV discussions in nearly 10 months? Why do they need to go to PDAC to do a deal? Why can't they pick up the phone and talk to people if they have all these great contacts? These are valid questions that nobody wants to answer or can't answer.
