That article yesterday suggested they might leave out future guidance/figures, which would be sensible because otherwise they are going to be suggesting a range of £100m-1.1bn. However caution on new store roll outs, a ‘plan’ and a share buyback should help calm some nerves. If the CEO is not capable of stepping up and saying something along the line of “the figures next year might not be great but investors should rest assured that we are well prepared to weather any storm whilst we look at medium term strategies etc” then he shouldn’t be in the job. As Roy Keane would say, it’s his job!

Have faith in Trump. He says don’t panic, will put additional 50% tariff on China if they don’t back down, meeting with everyone else ASAP. I’d bet the rumours of a 90 day pause are true, but will be played to the last minute possible. See how markets reacted earlier. First sniff of deals and pauses the whole market will boom.

My current buy order 0.0009p but may need to revise lower if another placing or delay comes along before it gets there.
