Really - these is a saying that the market is designed to transfer money from the impatient to the patient. Some people jumped in far too early without knowing much information and have been impatiently waiting for £1 a share to come the following day. Others have been waiting patiently to know the offer price and a good time to buy. A 35p an offer has been made and you can now buy at 24p, instead of at 40p without an offer on the table at all. Those who have been impatiently waiting are now selling at a loss and those who have waited patiently are now profiting from their stupidity.

Shorts will have to close before suspension or they wont be able to give the shares back, sooner or later thee is going to be a mad rush, once one runs they all will.

Heading for a green finish imo

Krok sometimes it’s better to do down with the ship than give it all away, there is no doubt the company has been ran into the ground, it is in dire straits and might not make it through to the end of next year without some serious refinancing of debt but selling it off for a pittance because the buyer is promising to put a bit of money into what will effectively be their own company anyway is an insult. At the end of the day if they do default on their liabilities without an agreement in place the creditors will either need to wait longer for the money or come after it through the courts, and if they come for it through the courts or via forced administration they might only get a fraction of what they will get if they wait. So far better for creditors to make a repayment deal and wait it out… no doubt this current deal is better for creditors but they don’t own the company the shareholders do.

Sidara act like they are doing everyone in Scotland a favour keeping ‘John Woods’ alive with a cash injection to pay the debts and keep the company going, a company that they will own anyway, so all they are really doing is injecting cash into themselves 🤣. Hardly going to be a Scottish company when it’s ran by Talal Shair, Bashar Rihani and Danny Aoun based in UAE… may as well just rename it Mohammad Mahmouds. I’d sooner see a proper price given to shareholders, then assets ring fence, stripped and transferred to a new company with John Woods liquidated than a tokenistic gesture of cash that nobody will ever see just to keep the name alive for a few more years.

I can assure you I’m not. GW is either Davethedrill a disgraced alcoholic UKOG ramper or Qunt who needs no introduction. I might troll, but all I have done is highlight the ongoing failings to meet deadlines and actually achieve something.. but I don’t make stuff up, or make telegram groups, fake WhatsApp messages, phone calls etc. I’m a troll not a scammer.

Either the BOD have been offered a side deal or the accounts/review is significantly worse than expected. The offer was always going to be negatively influenced by the share price regardless of others calculations but 35 p is an insult. I thought 50-60p but that was when the SP was comfortably at 40p. IMO though for 35p they should be ready and willing to either ask for more or reject worth out hesitation. The fact they are recommending, something doesn’t smell quite right and I think people are right to be angry and suspicious. They should roll the dice, there is no value in selling out this to a bunch of tight fisted stingy smelly Arabs for 35p even if I have trolled a bit today. Hopefully someone comes in with a hostile offer, 50p with no additional remuneration for the BOD.

There is no shame in being a victim to the scammers on here, the shame is that they remain on here still saying the same old rubbish with no repercussions.
