Well done guys for sticking with MRO - nice turnaround yesterday and this share still looks cheap on fundamentals - time in the market key here imo - patience will pay off in the end imo - gl and good weekend all

Macro/micro economics of late have improved somewhat John and with interest rate cuts around the corner I think UK stocks in general are rising - just about all shares have been hammered and I think JDW is just making up lost ground - having said that I trimmed here a few weeks back for the reasons you mentioned and I think the danger with results is the old "buy the rumour sell the news" adage - personally I am not too worried about the results - if profit it taken large scale on results day I will simply buy back the ones I sold to reduce my overall average - gl dyor etc.

Expect the pi speculation that was rife in Feb to resurface - the CMA obsticle is now out of the way and with interest rates due to fall either side of the atlantic and for that matter in Europe, raising cash will be easier and cheaper going forward - plenty more upside here imho - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Anything below 430p looks cheap to me Garonne - I think there is a lot at play in the background with this share atm - shorts will be trying to keep it low in order to realise an exit point in order to go long - the same thing played out with EZJ and is only now starting to correct itself - I would be surprised if it went below 410p but one can never tell in this type of market and what Mr T is going to say/do next! - gl dyor etc.

Added at 337.9p a few minutes ago - the spread was 0.05pct - so heavy buying going on as well as selling - US crude almost touching the 55p handle - will keep adding if it falls further - gla dyor etc.

82p paid - big buys going through on SETS atm - gla dyor etc

Will be looking to add if oil keeps falling - the stripper wells in the states will have to start shutting up shop below 60 dollars a barrel as they cannot make a profit - us crude touched 55 mid April (currently 57.5) so keeping my powder dry and will add for the divi if it gets near the 55 handle - gla dyor etc.

RR had a very good tu this morning - expecting MRO to go north today on the read through from this - Melrose has 19 RRSPs (risk and revenue share partnerships) in total with Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce (RR.) and GE Aerospace (US:GE). - I will be adding more if it falls today - lets see how it plays out - gla dyor etc.

Sold my holding here this morning for a 16pct overall profit with a dividend to come - was looking originally for 135p so more than happy with 143p - good luck to all existing holders -

Decided to buy some back this morning at 35p - all the crap news is now known and Garat gone - sitting duck for a takeover now surely - lets see how it plays out today - gla dyor etc
