Fleccy - I like the sound of this offer - it forces Ofcom into a situation where if they don't agree to it then broadband providers like Sky and Talk Talk may have to increase prices - Ofcom are NEVER going to put themselves in the position as the bad guy with the consumers at this moment in time - BT to go higher today on the back of this imo.

I said on here yesterday that macro inflation would soon start to reduce and indeed the figures coming out of the states an hour or so ago reflect this - plenty of uk stocks shorted on the back of high inflation/high interest rates and nex is one of them - this share will reverse and reverse big once the inflation/interest rates have peaked which is not too far away imo - lets see

"Rolls-Royce Placed on Negative Catalyst Watch at JPMorgan" - old news from weeks ago regurgitated by JP who are in my opinion desperate to drive the price down - put options expire for dec on Friday and quarterly options shortly after - with the aim to buy back as low as possible - an old trick to maximise returns for clients - for me this gets support below 90p - lets see

Added some this morning at 155p - more than happy to add at this price with inflation and rates looking like they will peak early next year I think there will be a big turnaround here in share price if not in takeover

The Kintbury short reduction and the upgrade today from Barclays tells you all you need to know - market sentiment on stocks drives the stock and for RR. that sentiment is through the roof at the moment with SMRs in full focus WORLDWIDE, air passenger numbers up and the hydrogen flight breakthrough - anyone shorting this now is nuts imo - for me this share is going to rerate over 100p pdq - big share buys going through this morning for RR. - follow the money

Historically this is a crazy price for VOD - the share was trading at 136p when covid was announced and we had no vaccine and no prospect of a vaccine - that is around 30pct higher than the share price today, admittedly since then we have had Brexit and the war in Ukraine which has taken its toll on economic growth but one has to be realistic here - is it really worse for VOD than it was then? - I will continue to add if it goes sub 90p

Managed to get my buy order filled at 90p - can't see there being much more downside than that but if there is I will add - gla dyor etc

Decided to sell the rest of my investment here plus the ones I bought a few days ago at 617p for 675p- a 37pct overall profit - I was going to wait and add but no further news imminent after the cash flow seminar and shorts increasing again a few days ago makes me cautious going forward - I think Poker has a point here in terms of this being a traders share - it is range trading here atm between 620 and 700 - will look for a buy opportunity to present itself again on adverse macro/micro economic sentiment should it arise.

Just bought a chunk back of the ones I sold at 806p recently - not the whole lot but 50pct of them at 617p, so in effect a realised short to go back long -macro and micro economic sentiment affecting atm as Valueplay pointed out recently - Personally I see this as a buying opportunity - Ocado cash flow modelling seminar scheduled for tomorrow which should hopefully consolidate price here, having said that it may well go lower so will be looking to add the remainder of the 806p sell accordingly - gla dyor etc

Hey Bigpunt - UK locked into infrastructure build going forward and contracts for Keir secured with a good possibility of more down the line - director just bought in - I am assuming he knows more than you do matey - I bought in here at 59.5p based on low debt and inflation reducing (relevant commodity prices ie oil, gas etc have fallen around 30pct in the last 6 months so futures prices will play out next year and reduce overall inflation to near zero - even Andrew Bailey said that) - on this basis Keir is massively oversold - let's see who is right

I sold my entire holding 7 months ago here at 126p because of the debt - the market hates it and it has further to fall imo - broker downgrades will surely follow in due course just before it goes ex divi which will push it down even further - at that point I will take another look -

Wrong again Valueplay - I do have belief that is why I retained around 40pct of my holding - if I had no believe I would have sold the entire holding - agree with Casp here, never wrong to take a profit, a substantial one at that during a turbulent period - you could have done the same and bought below 650p which is your target price had you read the economic backdrop correctly

Decided to dip my toe in here - the company looks sound to me with good contracts won and pitching hard for others - I think the sell off has been overdone and will look to add on further weakness

I sold the equivalent of my original stake in Ocado today for 806p making a profit of 65pct so the remainder of the shares left are now in there for free - I will look to add again on any further weakness - I think you are completely wrong here Valueplay - you are not factoring in the inflation turnaround in the states or commodity prices which have fallen around 40pct on average over the last 3 months alone and have yet to play out due to futures buying - are you still sticking to your 650p target price here or not??
