I think koot knew what the outcome of the RNS would be. He must have got a handle on how AIM works by now.

the SP was getting stuck at about 3.3p so his tweets did spike it up by at least a penny. Then at least we only dropped down to more or less where we were before tweetgate. This was my feeling all along when i heard about the tweet.

Otherwise we would have been below 3p and going back towards 2.5p in my opinion.

We quite possibly will drop down there again but it has given him some time. If the South American thingy comes off quicker it could give a much needed boost. I think he may have to push hard on this deal because he must be under pressure from the possibility of losing his bigger investors.

However he has lost a certain credibility and also like a joker you can only play this kind of ruse once or twice before you lose effect. Will he get traction doing something similar again?

I will top up again if we go significantly under 3p and wait it out - just in case he catches us by surprise

So yes updates might be earlier - but generally things run later than earlier. Next update is 3 months so at least that is a guarantee

scarface - have to disagree. going from 10% up to 20% down in a day is not nice viewing in your portfolio.

Especially if it is going to drift further and have to wait 3 months for the light at the end of the tunnnel

colonel - to be honest i would never have got involved in this share if it was just about trinidad. I never saw a $500m company from trinidad oil.

It was always somebody like koot in south america - i know i got a lot of stick for it when i first stsrting posting on this bb but that is how i feel.

I think koot has got to mind his reputation - this under promise over deliver is certainly looking to bit him on the harris.

I am glad my instincts stopped me topping up.

colonel - the trouble is the gloss is coming off koot a bit. I put a lot of money in this share previously because of his pedigree. This tweeting business was something i would expect from lenigas.

Quite honestly this RNS could have been issued last week - there was nothing concrete that has been added. Certainly nothing to warrant the cryptic tweets

I like the story. and will watch for the drop and top up in the sub 3p . I always said this quarterly update was too soon - but i think the next could be a bazzinger....especially if a south american acquisition - the reason i got interested in the first place

agree LGO - "treading water" as I feared. nothing new - we knew they had M&A plans / exploration drill . As suspected there was no increase in production

the tweets were to pump the price. interesting in the interview he doesnt want to tweet to mislead investors - disappointing behaviour

long term still looking very good - but this will take a battering in next few weeks in my opinion.

I see your point. However the masses like something for "free" . Also big assumption that those who sit around all day playing games have half a brain. not to mention kids who dont pay the electricity bill

been dubious about clem and associates - but i think this is a very good idea. much better than crypto for all occasions. interesting to see how it develops .

If I am honest the tweets make me uncomfortable. My suspicion is that the figures won't be drastically improved but there will be hints of an acquisition to bolster SP. It smacks of a lenigas move - I hope I am wrong.

Since it is hard to find this board I am guessing anyone still here is considerably down already and needs no introduction to leni investments which may occasionally go up on their down ward trajectory!

have you asked yourself why with limited cash they are going for the low probability one? could it be as a life style company they can then say butler was a duster but we have indications that BCGS has a formation. but we need to do more tests...yada yada....prolong the jam?

i would have thought if you really want to hit BCGS - you wouldnt drill where they are planning but the other side of the permit.

if our business plan is to explore assets /prove them up and sell them - and make money that way - we haven't done so well selling off our percentages so far - selling them so cheaply.

which brings me to my original question - how is leni going to fund it? what are his plans? is there a roadmap he would like to share with investors? because he is running out of investors like yourself that seem to have blind faith in everything he does. I suspect down under the convicts will want more than the promise of jam - if the reaction to the farm in has been anything to go on.

I believe he is going to need a good sell on this to overcome his reputation of someone who just has a long list of failed companies.

you say i go in circles - I have already stated numerous times that I do not believe at this moment in time we have enough cash or assets we can sell to get cash - to get this to production. In fact if it is like the kimmeridge where we had tests to decide if we wanted more tests to decide if we ..etc etc. I am not sure we will even get near that point

As for facts - what are the facts? There could possibly be JAM - read the experts reports - there is no definite fact that it is there or is commercially extractable. In fact The chance of success is only at 16%

ex - we have already discussed how much cash was available as per DOR's last accounts. It is not nearly enough. If you have proof of any additional cash - and i mean cash - please do share. otherwise we will have to believe the official accounts as signed off.

yes it is the most exciting - biggest - jar of jam in the southern hemisphere - I think we all heard that many years ago about the kimmeridge. Look how much that has earnt us so far

if a major agreed - I think they would have made REY an offer previously. REY have been trying to farm it out for a while.

What I am saying is - that as an explorer with very little cash needs to have a good plan to get it to production otherwise there could be problems later on. That is if it really cares about whether we get to production - and is not using the whole thing as a lifestyle company to pay overinflated wages to its directors who sit on numerous boards just collecting the monthly salaries.
