a doubling of the SP will do me very nicely thank you

if the offer is as you suggest - I will be over the moon.

however i am being realistic

with missed targets of free cash flow and one disaster after another including not selling at a decent price with two different suitors- no guarantee the II have the appetite to wait anymore and see their investment down by 80% or whatever it is

What we could have done with is a leak on how much sid were starting their bidding at. this would have recovered the SP and given more leverage to wood in negotiations.

however this management have shown time and time again they are not interested in share holders or their holding.

part of the reason why the sp is on its harris

investing or trading in shares is ALL about the SP.

we do it to make money and jam tomorrow doesnt count when you look at your portfolio

every BB also has rampers.. and dreamers too.

the reality is that it has already been leaked that the offer is significantly lower than the last figure they proposed before walking away.

they didn't come in when the share was at 70p - they came in at 29p

if the company is in a much rosier place than the SP suggests then the management will have to prove it

no the sp is a symptom of something very wrong - whether it be a financial issue to any extent or plain very bad management - we don't know. the market does not like something

having a ceo who doesn't protect your investment can be just as damaging to your wealth as anything else

The fact that wood have opened the books up again and are engaging and have extended means they can't be a million miles away on price.

Did will still try to get a good deal...but every day wood get nearer to refinancing...and both parties know what that means.

These talks also will help with refinancing ...as they can go to banks and say look we have had an offer of xyz .

All good..just patience needed in this frustrating time.

sidara are still in the hunt. might get an offer on Monday or more probably an extension.

if the deal had fallen through there would have been a leak in the FT

understandably people got wobbly ad bowed out with some profit...personally i would not want to be out of this one over the weekend

Atan...I get told repeatedly that I should not comment..because I no longer hold. The fact that I lost a fortune doesn't qualify me to have an opinion apparently.

However those critical of the share show more interest and have more knowledge than most of the holders that post.

Now I find it Very strange that some like DJ ..only post to have a pop at any critics on here .

They never post anything on the share itself..no interest..zilch

But seem determined to attack others and try and prove what an exciting life they lead etc

I was poo poo ed at the begining when I said there was a very good chance of an extension.

These are big negotiations.. did have a obviously gone in with a low ball offer and wood said not enough.

They are playing a game of chicken with each other and hopefully at some point one ducks.

Much will depend on how wood are getting on with the finance. If that is sorted then they don't need sid.

How desperate are sif though? Well they have been trying 9 times already..this is their best chance.

Personally I am expecting an extension..which is great news as shows dialogue is happening and both parties are interested.

It then might take a month to actually resolve one way or another.

In the meantime hopefully there is good news on the review to bolster SP

Wb - i have not bought in. i lost a lot of money on odx/cnsl so still keep an eye on things. there are some dubious characters on here that basically pump and dump when trading results are due to be released. pumping the share with claims of 10p and imaginary take overs etc whilst sometimes also admitting to selling their shares for coin.

i am out of ncyt. i am not interested in AIM shares any more as most end up being lifestyle companies
