Longfell..I am not sure but I am currently at a big loss

Longfell...I no longer know what I think with wood at the moment.

I was comfortable with a relatively large exposure £70k in wood ..but I will not lie this drop and incoming suspension has unnerved me. The clown in charge seems to have no idea how his rns is going to be taken or doesn't care.

If the brokers can't value wood at the moment...I don't feel bad that I can't either.

I don't like this level of risk...and expected wood to be a better company than aim ones...at the moment I am not sure that is the case

So the question is would they then bid before 17th or risk an extension ?

At the moment I would take 60p ..just to be out

Long..my feeling is that Sid won't care what wood does to mitigate it all happening again in the future . Once they have the company they will run it their way.

The only thing they will be looking at is potential liabilities

One would hope they spent their time policing unscrupulous companies rather than forum posters

One of the questions that I have been pondering is why sid made their move before the review result was released.

Is the result not important to them? It was just the price was super distressed and time was right.

Did they want to be in pole position when the review was released?

I keep reading on here that they won't make an offer before review is released?

I am not sure this is the case ..at the same token these things always take longer than expected

People are entitled to their opinions.

Yes it hurts if you are in a struggling share..but you either have conviction in it or not..don't expect everyone else to agree with you.

Dad..if wood are in trouble and need aid to make an offer to get out of the hole ..then they will accommodate sid

The problem is that nobody knows what the company is currently worth? Even brokers can't put a figure on it. If there have been lies in the accounts then it is a xxxx show.

We have the likes of ice cool saying nothing to see here..no issues . Etc company worth £3

And on the other end of the scale people talking of it not coming out of suspension etc etc.

The truth is somewhere in the middle.

If the company is worth say 75p and sid offer this - then that isn't peanuts. But those expecting the same sort of figure as previously offered by sid will feel robbed.

Diaz..another extension can be granted.

I think sid could say they need more time in light of the review. If they are haggling over a figure then it is also possible

The complication for us holders is the suspension.

I could see another extension being sought but will be extended to before on or after suspension date?

I think trusting any board of any company is pretty naive .

My guess is that they will get the company at closer to the price they want. We don't know what leverage wood have left. Also at what price they can afford to walk away from
