There is no way of knowing what is a buy or sell..the trade is just represented relative to the mid point between buy and sell price. Not right but that is the way it is.

All you can do is look at the change in sp as to the demand of buy v sell.

At the moment the sell demand is greater than buy..for obvious reasons

If they are the only ones selling them of course they are driving the price.

There are more looking to sell than buy due to suspension and that is what is driving the price down.

The shorts will close soon...which will absorb some .

But then they also said that what was in the review would not affect future income or something like that - can be bothered to sift through tens of forms to find the rns

It looks to me as if we will go in suspension with sid conditional offer. Accounts will come out and then we will have to vote on offer.

Ice clown. Please use some common sense. You are never going to get within 15% of the offer...nobody would stay for 3% and nobody would buy for 3%

So how would you get a transaction..the only way the MM s can make a market is by reducing the price until there is enough liquidity both ways.

Prob some of the shorters are closing..but they know there is no rush with suspension looming.

The terminology of ' minded" is because they haven't received a conditional offer yet...so they can't say recommended.

No share gets it so to practically take over bod. There would be no market. Who would stay in for 1p? And who would buy to gain 1p

At the moment no one is buying ..save for a few wanting the premium of 35p to current price. But most won't want their money locked in

Whilst technically you are correct. The fact that a figure has been disclosed and recommended..means that it is a done deal.

Sid want the company...

35p was the figure that wood could get away with - after prob consulting ii.

I suspect initial bid was 35p

There was a worry when SP rose to 44p..as it clearly could not have been recommended by the board at that price.

Fortunately for Sid..the board trashed the SP again and the deal could take place.

Whether by design or accident..we will prob never know.

But sid were in the driving seat after that horrendous update

If there were no suspension I would expect sp to oscillate around 29p

Once Sid put in a firmer off there might be a rise as anyone who bid in at 24p knows for sure it will be worth 35p.

Not a bad return for a couple of months.

The problem is any where near 35p would result in a mass exodus .

What we need is Sid to put a firm offer in and then start buying any shares they can. They get shares cheaper than 35p and provide liquidity for those wanting a quicker exit

The last thing they would want is to recommend and ii say no. 35p was the bare minimum that they could get away with.

Why would market makers being offering a better price when they know a large number of people will want to exit? They have to make a market and buy the shares. Ok they know that they will soon get 35p for anything they buy..but they will want a massive premium.

At the moment people want to sell and nobody wants to buy..hence the SP where it is.

Most are either going to have to sell at a bigger loss or wait out the suspension.

It is what it is.

I have been thinking ..What we need is another a bidder...there is time as sid have made so many conditions.

Or someone willing to dismantle the company and sell assets to pay debt off . There could be profit there.

At the moment the probability is heavily with Sid picking up a bargain. Injecting the cash and prob steam lining and dumping the bits they don't want

Any offer on a company usually drives the SP to 85% of the value of the offer .in this case 29p ish?

It would never go to 34p as people would not stay in for 1p premium.

We had 29p but it got battered because the suspension has muddied the waters. It will take a month or two for the accounts to be finalised .
