Rightly or wrongly I always look at a CPR a bit like other certs eg MOT or gas Safe exams . How deep they want to delve is up to the individual company doing it. Also if they don't provide the "goods" they are unlikely to get repeat business. I suspect the oil world is quite small and word of mouth knows who the more friendly firms are.. There are enough disclaimers that they are never liable for anything anyway.

This is why trice got the CPR he wanted to move the project forward and the new bod have presumably got the CPR that they wanted whatever their agenda is.

The fact that whoever does the CPR gets the data from the company involved means that you would suspect they know what the final read will be like.

I don't see anything underhand in the dates. They give the date it started and drag it out months to justify the inflated price they charge to check over someone else's figures.

Reminds me of a photographer I knew who had printed the photo ordered by the client as he was on the phone getting the order. Of course he didn't send it for a week to show he was super busy and it took time to get it right.

if they have the right products going forward - Abingdon will bounce back. They always looked overvalued compared to income.
NCYT are the best example. bad news gave the market ammunition to hit them hard. However they have the products and are on the way back up. market makes money. rinse and repeat

it is why i keep hammering on about ODX having to not shoot themselves in the foot with their RNS. the market will do it without any help - we drop on any other covid related company news.
you need to play the game. release rns in a positive or at least neutral way. get your gains that the market will do its best to get back in other ways, you never shoot yourself in the foot

they dont need to buy - just keep issuing themselves cheap options.

I am not sure there are different investors more likely that it is the companies who communicate very differently. i suspect some who are invested here are also in AVCT/NCYT. I am in NYCT since the drop. Their rns was great - efficient and informative. Even with this great RNS the SP only rose 20% on the day. So how ODX thought we were gonna rip loose and break a £1 and so needed to temper their long awaited RNS on the contract amounts befuddles me even more.

punters will buy and sell on news if the SP is not on a steady uprise trajectory . Unfortunately that is down to the company - poorly worded rns / amateur twitter / continuous director sells are to blame for that .- and the only onesl

mrindia - we were told that the company would be able to manufacture 2m tests a week by april. So one would hope that amongst all the rns on director sells they could squeeze one in about that being achieved - this week. Of course any update on what they are actually manufacturing would be welcome. of course all through recognised channels rather than some random PI twitter

quinny - hur is currently a very risky play because there is the very possible chance of losing everything. it could all turn around and obviously the games afoot with CA..however there will always be time to get in if hur turns a corner. sure you may miss out on a big spike but there will potentially still be gains to be made.

No one asked him to ramp the rns. however if you can't deliver great news that everyone had been waiting months for in a non negative way then it questions competence in looking after shareholders interests. Sorry but the price is where it is solely because of him.

I was thinking water cut of well 7 being about 50%- i cant remember the last figure- 30-40%? so there is some manipulation going on unless the water is suddenly going to disappear!..lol

what was the last water cut on 7? was over 30% ? it would seem to have reduced if they are averaging at 25%. ?

fandg - my suspicion was that the delay was not down to hur but the crowd producing it. lets be honest it is money for old rope - you take a company's data - pfaff around for a few months - charge £100,000s and have to make it look like they got value for money. delaying it prob looks like it took more than the 5 mins it prob actually took....or maybe i am being cynical about CPRs

hur must have known there was going to be a serious downgrade from their figure? why carry it out? what happemned to the sandstone...maybe i am seeing ghosts when there arent any but it just seems a bit fishy - all the oil has disappeared - yet we can still pump 10k a day? halifax gone!..sandstone gone!

I wouldn't say dilution makes no sense as the bod have no skin in the game . It won't effect them other than in a positive way _ by keeping the lights on and them in a job..

I agree that there could be something weird going on in the background ...I don't get the CPR at all..they must have known the results already as it was their data...if there was to be no improvement I don't get it...
Also how did the oil in Halifax disappear completely. Severe downgrade yes but nothing ?

What are CA up to ? What do they think they know ? Where is the gardener ?

Why no plan/ funding still ? Lack of opportunity or lack of desire

In the meantime Hur is producing...but even the water cut is weird..now that we'll 7 is added but the water cut hadn't increased ?

i think people are selling because sentiment has changed. ce/tt/etc etc take time but The badly pennned rns not only destroyed momentum but also put doubt - when there was no need. twitter a few days later contradicted it. the continuous sell off by odx staff sends a bad signal out as well...

market is a tough beast - never give it an excuse to punish you. in the current market 25% is hard earned and that is what we need to get back to the £1 struggle.

the blame for the current SP lies fully with odx.
