achilles - the thing is that the RNS didn't even need to be bullish. Just a link to the gov site would have been enough - and £1 broken.

instead we are down to 86p (about 13% drop).

The company look like clowns - have not done themselves any favours on the stock market

the market is tough - give it ammunition and it will shoot you in the foot.
the clown king has destroyed sentiment either by design or incompetence.

some people have no doubt sold because they know there is a good chance it could now fall further. others have sold because they cant trust him - if the ceo is not going to act in shareholder interest.

we anticipated that news within 30 days and momentum was building even though £1 was finding almost impossible to break. that news should have broken it for once and all. - now who knows when the next news will be? or how it will be announced.

aldebaran -- well clown king does not mind rampy twitter posts? "big " things coming blah blah....well it was either big or as the rns said maybe substantially less. he needs to make his mind up. personally i would rather less rampy twitter and less negative rns.

is he doing a great job? last year's figures certainly weren't. some would say he got lucky with the pandemic and govt contract. right time right place. or maybe not if the substantially less is to be believed.
lets be honest if you are in this field and if you cant make a killing in this environment then something is certainly wrong.

fever - not really. he was out of work so has earned for 6 months without doing much . the one job he had was formalise plan and sort out finance. well that hasn't been done

this is his first job - so made the leap on his CV. if hur fails he will no doubt blame on the circumstances prior to his arrival. dont see him losing much and no skin in the game

i don't see the clown king as being deceitful - i do see him as being a bit inept in terms of understanding the market. I guess the reality is that he was ceo of a tiny company worth £10m and needs to adapt to looking after his shareholders interests - if he wants to keep them. I am seeing so many on twitter who are LTH and considered selling up.

make him think twice when writing an RNS...unless of course you would prefer more of the same?

£2.50? I don't think so. It couldn't break £1 when government contract was leaked in press.

If people keep making excuses for the clown king he will do it again....he has form on it .....people need to kick up a fuss and let him know how they feel.

agreed simon - clown king will have lost a lot of investors over this. Market is hard enough without shooting yourself in the foot.

Frustrating thing is that it has been so hard to break £1. We finally had the news to do it.. Step up the clown king

The market is its own law. Without news a share drifts. That is why it is important to get gains when you can then if you fall its still up. If this had reached £1.30 and then drifted down that would be a lot less painful than no rise but a fall on what should have been a great rns. There was absolutely no reason to draft such a negative rns - a link would have been sufficient. They must have been on Twitter on sunday night to observe the excitement before busting a gut to get negative slant. Fair enough but they dont rush in when there is bad speculation eg poor results on last year accounts or director selling because they know something we don't. Sorry but company look like a bunch of clowns and we know who the king is. This will have put people off investing. The market is hard enough without the ceo making it harder

jolly - i still have high hopes for the company. if you cant make money out of selling tests in a pandemic then there is no hope..... if they could just pause the director sells and very negative rns on what should have been great news the SP might stand a chance.

why does ODX need paid derampers? all they have to do is wait for the next rns and price drop that accompanies it. the only time this share goes up is in between rns

i accept that ODX may not know how much revenue will be received by the government until test is chosen etc etc. £50m was a minimum and £384m was maximum under this contract . Presumably there could/will be the possibility of additional contracts with the gov as the virus does not look like disappearing anytime soon.

As nobody knows the full extent - there was no need for the clown king to add the following

"The value of future purchase orders may be substantially less than stated in yesterday's public Government disclosure."

They could have just linked to the GOV site and left it at that. The destruction in sentiment was THEIR CHOICE and shareholder's loss. No point ODX going crazy on twitter afterwards as damage done.

I think it would depend on oil in sandstones - how much and if it were conventional play rather than fractured basement. the AM has got possibility of an extension and is in position

GWA is a write off i think - spirit dont seem interested in pursuing so dont think anybody else will either.
i dont think fractured basement is going to tempt many especially with hur's results . halifax should have been the big one but i guess too risky.

As hur have not done any interviews since trice left I suspect the bod are the ones who are reluctant.. Not surprising as they might be asked what they have done to justify 6 months salary?
