eazy - odx tends to get hit by any negativity around any other covid stock especially when the company have self destructed the sentiment. i believe odx suffered in ncyt slipstream in april.

AIM is driven by news/sentiment. the company don't seem to have any real news that would improve the sp - not their fault as they are waiting on the government. the share will drift down on that and get hit by other macroenvironment news. that is why you let it build momentum when it does - not keep self destructing. i am afraid this company seems out of its depth - amateur videos / ramps and then knocking any good news it does have.

share has struggled with breaching a £1. anytime we build momentum the company tries to be too clever and ends up with an own goal. if they spent less time on twitter and engaging with a couple of tweeters and more time selling the product in a pandemic..maybe

turfmoor - i don't think that odx SP was ahead of the game but that it might do due to a few twitter tweets. Clearly shows that they have no idea of the market. As you say there was no need for the tweet. Was not funny - but disrespectful and potentially financially damaging as comes from company account. someone needs the sack in my opinion. the company is a disaster PR wise and need to get their act together. stop trying to be mates with a few tweeters and promote the company is a professional and positive way to safeguard investor's savings

turfmoor - whether you are short term or long term you expect the company to "look after " your hard earned money. this is not a long term investment for me in that i hope covid will be sorted in another year. now is the time to make money from odx - although it does seem to be continually licked down the road month after month - it should be like selling cold beer in the desert. now this may be currently beyond the company's control but the continual disrespect and SP destruction that the calamity clown does seem to allow is another thing.

that tweet was not necessary. some ramping might have been going on - i didnt see any personally - but that is the nature of the stock market and every share goes through it. read any of these boards. i am not involved in any other company where they feel they have to respond to a couple of Bulletin board/ twitter posters with company tweets or rns. Was anybody going to really buy a car on odx going up 1% on friday? really? most people have been in long enough to see that the share cant break £1. After seeing the sp plunge to 70 p from the last time it attacked a £1 and we were "helped out" by the company - i think this tweet is really idiotic. the company never gets involved when the sp crashes due to director sells etc

as for a tesla - my worry over the weekend is that i will lose enough that i could have bought one due to some numbnut. i dont expect to have to worry about my money due to some clown on twitter

the issue is i think the company is in too close contact with a handful of tweeters and responding to them in an unprofessional manner
it seems calamity colin reads a few twitter tweets - which are a bit like a conversation in a pub - and feels the need to reacts to it as if it was the market speaking.

the damage done is not the message. Nothing changed is nothing drastic after months of the same. it is the behaviour which shows the company is behaving like twitter teenagers, as well as disrespecting its investors. the amount i have in ODX i could have used to buy a tesla- and it prob would keep its value better than ODX shares have due to the twitter antics. lastly it will not attract investors if they feel calamity clown will destroy value on a regular basis through being unable to not post comments that will be taken negatively by the market. it shows someone who has little knowledge/experience how the market works - not someone you want guarding your life savings!

AWK - personally i dont think there will be a storm of any sort in the uk if it gets rubber stamped by the judge. there will probably be a few articles in the financial pages about HUR's fall from grace - company worth over £1b at its peak to £3m shareholder valuation or whatever the 5% value will be. how could it all go so wrong? blah blah blah.

if there is any way that the bondholders can take it private - they will - and hur will disappear. forgotten like yesterday's chip paper.

I always found it intriguing that kerogen reps left at the time that you would really expect them to want to know what was going on to protect their investment.

Any conspiracy theorists might ponder - if they turn out to be bondholders - if there was any pre meditation going on . How long has this give away been on the agenda...? Was it earlier than the time line so painstakingly informed by the bod ? They were very keen to mention initial talks only took place at Xmas ? i think trice must shoulder some of the blame from december 2019 until his departure if the new CPR is correct. however after that the buck stops with the new bod. they are especially responsible for the seemingly inaction since September 2020 when they had made it perfectly clear that a forward plan was needed for the continued future of HUR

i suspect many people feared a massive dilution 80-100%. I doubt many expected the company to be given away without any apparent alternative sought.

lonestag - the spread was greater on Monday. To be fair to the MMs they are probably struggling this week to put a price on HUR. The company has dropped considerably in a week - and there is a serious possibility that it is going to drop a lot more. They need to keep an orderly market and also don't want to get caught buying a lot of stock which they won't be able to sell. I can understand - but they don't get my sympathy!

i doubt there is any mileage in pursuing the CPR companies. they both used the data supplied by hur - and gave them the CPR that no doubt the company paid for. hur needed a good one to sell the FB idea and got it. the new hur had come up with a technical review with a massive downgrade and the CPR they paid for confirmed it.

there are enough disclaimers that basically the CPR is not responsible for anything other than being a piece of paper. if anything it is the CPR process that needs to be up before a judge!

i dont see anything drastically wrong with the initial CPR - lancaster has come up good relatively speaking - 11k barrels is still impressive. ok GWA was disappointing but there was still oil. more data was collected and the geology was revised. perfectly reasonable. the second CPR is acceptable for lancaster as that is where they got it from. my puzzlement is halifax where the initial promising oil samples suddenly became invalid and then this means that the oil has completely disappeared ? maybe this is completely feasible though it is somewhat convenient that it is now worth nothing just as the company is about to be given away. certainly food for any conspiracy theorists.

i can accept the geology - even if halifax doesnt quite sit right with me....it is the action of the bod since trice left that is unpalatable...
