blood ninja - the rns showed that there is a high probability that the company will be given away - it is not a done deal and i hope there will be a fight back. the market responded with the severe drops of 50% and 30%. this indicates the market believes it will happen.

it cannot drop instantly to the restructure price as it hasn't happened yet - the company is in limbo so to speak. the MMs have to keep an orderly market. they also need to provide liquidity by buying from sellers - and they wont want to take a hit.

the SP is in an interesting position, seriously over valued if the restructure happens and severely undervalued if a knight in shining armour rides to the rescue.

unfortunately that was after calamity colin floored the SP with his negative rns saying might earn significantly less than the quoted tender figure ...no wonder the market was laughing

surprised by that - been talk of kerogen being bondholders for so long that i just assumed that it was based on fact somewhere. just goes to show - unless of course it is the multiple entity theory.

mcadder - you could be right on the 0.2p. I still have a funny feeling that there will be some twists and turns along the way - so worth a trade at the right price.eg . i would not be surprised if well 8 is drilled and a success. i will be very interested to see what happens to the bod if/when the bondholders get hold of the company.

RF - Not at all. I have always tried to be transparent on these boards - i am a terrible liar with an even worse memory so would only trip myself up!

i sold out most of my remaining shares after the xmas rns. I was willing to give the bod the benefit of the doubt but when they didn't deliver a forward plan as promised that was me out. i had a tiny remnant of about 150000 that i had in a sipp which i left just in case but i sold on the feb spike. previously i had large holdings and also traded. my trades were pretty successful but in no way covered the losses on my large holding

i have a soft spot for hur and knowing something about the company and history i believe is a benefit in the stock market. unfortunately i see this going to 0.1p ish - at which point i would enter. i think once the bondholders own 95% they could put a plan together or sell or even buy out the remaining 5%. so there is possible upside

retired fella - contrary to what many post on these boards i doubt very much if anyone is being paid to ramp or deramp. i am not sure how much sway these boards hold at the best of times. sometimes i wonder with the obvious multiple aliases - how many different are posting apart from me!

there may be people who derive pleasure in others losing money - pretty sick in my view - and tempting karma.

I just think people get caught up in the jousting. A lot of the posts do seem quite repetitive but i suspect it is just in the nature of some to think they are absolutely right and drive home the point.

I am sorry for your loss. I too lost a lot - and i mean a lot - on hur. i hope to make it back on other shares and i hope you do too.

bartle - the challenge in the courts is an interesting one

As i said in an earlier post there is a 3 week wait for a 1hr session in a commercial court - i am not sure on the commrcial circuit court. assuming hur booked a hearing immediately prior to the rns - one has to assume they booked a 1 hr slot. all that is needed if the judge is going to rubberstamp asfter seeing the CPR/covenants etc etc.

if there is a challenge then it will no doubt going over the hour - and therefore have to be given a new date? maybe giving time for an EGM if CA or someone else wanted?

if the hearing has been booked for longer - then they must have given considerably more notice than the time alerted in the RNS. Something which presumably should have had an RNS?

bartle - the new bod say that trice got it very wrong. Lets assume they are right - though my faith in CPRs is not the highest- did trice every believe he was wrong? Or was he fighting to day he was pushed. If he did think he got it wrong at what point was it? there were over 6 months where he was convincing us that it was better than expected results/perched water etc. we may never know but this determines if he was the villain of the piece?

Bartle - I don't know about awk's voices but I suspect he is right about trice. There was no way he was going to give up his baby and more importantly all that data - remember all the lectures on FB he was giving- without being pushed. Having dreamt of it all in his garden shed and his reputation now in tatters must have been a shock especially if he genuinely just got it wrong..

hasiba - i do think that CA have been outmanoeuvred - however I don't think they are buffoons. They clearly made good profit from HUR since the beginning.

I just think that HUR have left them very little time to react and too much to overcome. They would seem to have clearly and probably successfully set this "giveaway" as a fait accompli. They have done this in a timely and well executed fashion - in contrast to the forward plans that shareholders were advised were coming. FWIW I believe the geology went against HUR but something possibly could have been salvageable. Why it wasn't is another question.

I do hope for shareholder's sake that something can be done - but i feel the bod may have been very "competent" in this particular task. GLA

unfortunately for some the tweet changed sentiment and faith in the company. Instead of rising today towards 90p - we were down 10% now 7%.
i now feel that i cant trust company with my money due to poorly worded rns from calamity colin or wide boy tweets.

unfortunately that seems to be the issue. either calamity clown or wide boy twit seem unable to sit on their hands. just a matter of when is the next one sandwiched between director sells

hasiba - the issue is that it looks like CA have been outmaneuvered by hur. quite possibly why they were so reluctant to engage with CA when they attempted to contact.

Yep.....they seem to be very keen on stopping any upward momentum - not so much when price gets hammered...if we get hammered tomorrow lets see how quick they are!

jackdog - if it does go down and bounce back very quickly will be great. if anyone is caught out just has to wait for the next tweet or rns of director sell/ calamity colin talking down the share!

Blubutton - totally agree. It is everyman for himself out there. Market takes no prisoners and no one will care if you lose money.

All you can hope is to get into a story early or successfully trade the moves in the market.

It is hard enough without the company self destructing on a far too regular basis. This share is quite frankly 2steps forward 4 steps back.
