what is important is will the profit per item stay the same or change? it would be good if odx could give some guidance of profit per item.

they are already expensive items - though to be fair they look superior to the "budget" stuff more readily available. unfortunately odx don't have brand recognition so what will make people pay more? of course some people will think you get what you pay for but many will just shop around for the cheapest.

could be wrong - but even IF thecompany delivered solid results - i think SP will struggle

oh and zillions of shares waiting to be offloaded at a price above 4p by bucketshop flippers who have been locked in a lot longer than they expected....prob have reduced target to get out of this share and use cash elsewhere - knowing they have a zillion warrants in reserve with no risk

believe it or not any guestimates i put on here are backed by my understanding of the situation / research and back of fag packet calculations...eg the £2m top for cd4

i have absolutely no idea on current sales. a lot of their projections were for a couple of years time and did not seem to be backed up by anything other than the us is a big market with big potential. we know odx previous excursion with covid lft "pro" test was a really poor strategy and never took off. they had one man on the ground from memory from previous presentations - hardly a good indication.
odx are a company with an appalling sales record over 30 years - if you remove their ability to firesale assets at a fraction of what they paid for them

how about you give a guess and rationale behind it?

joe - no idea. they only recently did a placing and had to sell assets so my guess is not great

there has been nothing RNS regarding big contracts - and we know the threshold that should be met if consistent eg DAM figure.

my suspicion is that they will use the excuse of having had to work on restructuring before they can fully concentrate on FT. as i have joked before odx can only focus on not selling one product at a time!...
the problem is that comparing last years figures to the year before was skewed by covid...those type of percentages are unlikely in my view to be repeated

their FT tests look good but are expensive and heading into a severe global recession - is not going to help a more "luxury item".....

i still think there are 3 weeks to drift down with delay - so could be bouncing down here for awhile.

not sure why people are worried about evraz having details - this was a ftse company not some cyberware guy in a basement in moscow.

if evraz do list somewhere else - they may in my view have some sort of restructure enabling them to list somewhere else without having sanctions on them.

it is what they do to achieve this - and how the brokers can respond to it? that made me go for certs. i think certs will be more flexible. anyway people have to decide today.

i think the usa sell is to give them cash they can use for debt and also they see the wriying is on the wall in terms of the future.

Their choice would have been to stay on London exchange. We have to be pragmatic ..they are on the way off of it.

So who would blame them looking elsewhere . If Dubai starts mopping up russian business and then some Chinese and Indian etc etc.

Besides Dubai ..is only one possibility...my guess is that they will end up somewhere else...rather Dubai than moscow

the world is a changing....this war/sanctions will shuffle the pack....some countries will gain in strength and clout others will be losers
whilst it is admirable that the west has stood together- against russia. these sanctions could quite honestly have accelerated a natural decline...

i am sure dubai is hungry and willing to take any slack that the likes of london or switzerland does not want

Buck...the reality is that places like Dubai are trying to establish themselves as major players...so are happy to welcome rich international companies. This war will shuffle the pack in terms of winners and losers.

I don't see the certs as guaranteeing any more security than being held digitally...but I do see it as being potentially more flexible and quicker to adapt.
As well as potentially being cheaper in the future to dispose of.

I suspect it is very binary..

Buck..you have some interesting points. And some are defo worrying.

However I disagree about not listing in somewhere like Dubai. It makes perfect sense to me as they will continue to be an international company and traded ....Dubai is going to be the next Switzerland by some accounts.

divis are a long way off and all shareholders would be treated equally.

i suspect they want cash to secure the company and be able to pay debt etc. the west has become a hostile environment and shown that they are anti evraz due to RA. if evraz are innocent it is unfair and if they are guilty then things are not going to get better in the short term - as the war could potentially go on for quite awhile,

i suspect once they are off the stock market here - and sanctioned - they will look to change the company and list elsewhere (eg dubai which seems to be the current favourite for ruskies at the moment) . the assets are in russia and in uk i suspect there is nothing they could not just walk away from.

so the question is will they honour their western SH?. i think they have given a wink with paper certs. you will be able to trade them on another index.
i think shares digitally held may be more difficult or slower to trade should this happen.

the west has torn up the rule book with evraz - so i think expecting them to play by the rules later on could be unrealistic. much will depend if they are willing to be patient and wait i hope of getting back on lse or whether they just say FCUK it

My gut reaction is telling me that they will somehow end up on Dubai exchange. Since the assets are in Russia...I suspect that they might just fold evraz plc...and tbh you could not really blame them .

The question is how fair they want to be to western sh. I think this has made up my mind on certs...it is going to give more flexibility for whatever plans they have.
