have to disagree.
both sides seem to be represented by good quality teams. I don't see one side being significantly better than the other.

most commercial litigations seem to reach a deal before verdict - but i think the gov will want to be seen to be pursuing NCYT - in view of all the corrupt and incompetent stuff that went on during covid. if it does take 3 years to get to trial then no guarantee that if a deal were to be made it would still be before a couple of years

the gov argument of 100% sensitivity required would seem to be weak as i believe winterplex was marketed as between 96%-100%. so they should have known what they were getting.
if in reality the nhs were only achieving 80% that would probably indicate user error as being the cause?

the gov clearly think they have data that is damning on ncyt....just wish we knew more about what they had

i just hope that ncyt are not getting distracted by it and coming up with a master plan

understandable....i think there was a lot of blind hope on the results to be announced . the delays are clearly not a good sign suggesting that those of us who have been critical are probably right.....again

the SP is not in a good place..and with minimum 2 and more likely 3 weeks to go ...it will get battered further.

trader - tbh i don't blame anyone for having a different opinion and it goes wrong eg the way the sp is heading. jeez we all get it wrong.

the way posters are being attacked on here - shows total desperation. we know that they know things are very bad. they are just doubling down in the hope they can get some traction on the sp to get out. i pretty much skim through most of the stuff from certain posters - and therefore maybe i have missed something...but i have not seen one rational argument for being positive on odx for ages.

newbies will not be fooled if they read more than a few pages of this board. i am not sure they are putting the best advert out there

i suspect they have been in touch but that there has been no significant movement either way - and therefore needn't have been rns. the gov wheels work very slowly through bureaucracy and it does not really matter to them how long it drags out etc. i suspect odx are happier for it to drag out than be resolved quickly and they lose.

some of it might also be covered by NDA

Atan - you make some very valid points. it is a breath of fresh air to see some reasonable thoughts and attempts at discussion on here whether one agrees or disagrees. i hope you don't get put off by the usual suspects.

the thing is nobody wants odx to go under or SH to lose money. it is a forum to discuss the company. good or bad. the SP proves there is very unfortunately more bad than good .

i agree that by closing other divisions - some overheads may have been shared - which now FT will take the full brunt.

what some on here don't seem to grasp is that saving a loss is not revenue in. saving £300k a month on cd4 whilst better than losing does not mean the other departments have now become profitable.

prices on everything are going to start to rocket..this will drive the cost of FT up. it is already a niche product that is expensive and what we don't know is how it will affect profit margins and sales

i still think it is a good product...but the question is how much of a luxury product?
i think odx would have struggled to survive in the best of times - unfortunately i think we are heading towards the worst of times

my suspicion is that the figures look bad and odx are desperately trying to write stuff off to massage the bottom line. they will need this for an overdraft and to not collapse the price completely

i can understand the blind hope that the figures will come good...but we have a ball park on revenue..the expenses will be more than anticipated. even if they weren't the sp will not climb....it is really a question of how much it will drop.

the good thing is that any long term holders are sitting on a fraction of their original stake and so it won't be worth selling. however odx is really not an attractive prospect for any newcomer

maybe you should have checked my history and seen how many times i was right on odx in the last year? might have saved you some money?

if that is the case - then clearly the accounts are worse than some of us expected.
Also we don't know how much of the £4m - kenya smoke screen is covered by tax savings from the creative accounting.
