harchris - i think your evaluation of AIM is fair. sentiment seems to drive much more than fundamentals at time.

i am not sure who you are referring to as biggest mug ? i do have sympathy with them however.
the company does have great potential and cash in bank - however there are some serious risks and it has become much more of a binary bet than i expected or am comfortable risking.

however murphy's law dictates that the moment you sell is the moment it will probably rocket!

b2- if salad man had been headhunted - then i could possibly see the merit. also they are very big established companies. i bet when the director was headhunted it was for a specific skill set and vision he had already displayed

salad man had never been a ceo before - and so the 100 days seems like it might have been used for him to get an idea of what he had to do..? i joked before that it gave him time to read "ceo for dummies". he clearly got to chapter 2 where you ask for a huge pay rise every year

despite all the links on here to every newspaper article about a disease in the world and linkedin likes - the company has not sold much at all.

we don't have an easily recognisable product specifically for a lucrative market - like covid tests
so i am not sure how they could have supported the sp?

i would have thought that in the job interview he would have been asked how he is going to make ncyt earn £100m a year? what his strategy would be?

it may take time to implement a strategy - it surely does not take this long to come up with one? as far as i can see we have been rudderless for quite some time.

we don't have a limitless amount of time. lose the gov dispute and it is pretty much curtains. however we have prob got 2 years to get in a position whereby if we lose we can pay it and still survive.

if we have the same amount of progress in the next 11 months - i think you can forget it

neil - with all respect he wasn't building the company from scratch. salad man came into a buoyant company who had a lot of cash in the bank and good science behind the scenes. it seems to me that they just need a strategy - has he shown any in the last 11 months? market thinks not and i tend to agree.
he has talked the talk but sadly not walked any of it

seems to be a common theme from the linkedin watchers...
i get it ....everyone wants to think the new saviour has been hired...and everything is gonna be ok now,
but it is the equivalent of reading CVs from applicants.

problem is a couple of years later and if they haven't sold anything and it is all a bit late.

they never did - which is why we got the abuse/stalking and spamming the board with personal hobbies or fantasies of everybody who lost cash in the share huddled around the same keyboard.

Atan - though not huge volumes or values. I suspect they were evenly matched if the price stayed the same.

Let's be honest it is zero volume either way...and prob will stay more or less the same until the results

atan - i agree with what i call "the inertia syndrome".....cant be bothered or face selling and acknowledging the loss. i suppose some might take comfort in it being a "paper loss" and be in denial.

good point on the quotes....I wonder if people are having trouble selling? the MMs surely must be wary of having a surplus of odx shares on their books which they are unlikely to offload between now and results.... and who knows afterwards

i questioned Salad man after April's disastrous "forward plan" and got crucified by many on here. I wonder if those that did so - are so confident in mr salad's ability now?
