p100 - i think you are right - trying to show they care (we feel your pain blah blah) and are trying to engage....at the same time trying to justify and salad their way out (we intend to drive shareholder value blah blah)

can't see anything positive that they can tell us - if there is anything it should have been in rns.
salad will just make it worse and make the ceo look like more of a clown

the market dos not think salad man can run the company and make a profit..so the cash will be eaten away. then there is still risk they will lose the dispute. the only thing ncyt currently has going for it is its cash..and we don't know how much they realistically have

well i suspect most people knew those kind of results were coming in - so no real surprise except to maybe those dreaming all those linkedin likes mean something big is happening in the background....the real key is how much more damage salad man will do later?

tbh i think it might have been best just to release the results without trying to justify what a pony job they done

BH - in my opinion the time to worry would be if ncyt lose the dispute and end up being broke...the obvious play would then be a huge placing subscribed to by a collection of individuals - existing sh would then get diluted to non existence....as you say either they sell up or get left in a limbo

the fact that there is a bundle of cash - and ncyt have a strong case in the dispute - in my opinion makes it unrealistic.

my hope is that ncyt can turn the corner with the non covid stock and put themselves in a position where even if they did lose the dispute they are still a compsany with a reasonable mcap

always a possibility - companies do it if they want to go private.
tbh i am not convinced - i just think the company has been badly run and don't have the ammunition or knowhow to combat the loss of sentiment.

i would guess that after tomorrow it will be an open period ?- the one thing the bod should be doing is buying more shares to show some confidence in what they are doing.

B2 - i suspect as previously posted much of the results will have already been made public.
What the market wants to see is future strategy and this is where the danger lies tomorrow.

if salad man does not have something concrete then the SP WILL get punished...if he hasn't got something good the sp COULD get punished.

historically every time he opens his mouth the sp has been battered. the big question is has he learnt that the salad ain't cutting it?

wilson - my advice is rather than try to moderate what people can post...if you don't find it constructive (translated as positive for the share i am invested in) - then block or skim past.....there done for you!

the thing is he will be much better off in the long run whatever happens to ncyt...he will be able to put ceo on his cv..that has upgraded him considerably...

fair play to him he has quite a transition along the way from ski rep to ceo..and he clearly knows how to conduct a good interview with all the right marketing glossary words. so i agree he is certainly not stupid.

my questions are
is he the right man for the job
how closely aligned to the shareholders is he really?

at this moment the answers are not positive for me...but am more than happy to be proved wrong tmrw

p100- it was always on the cards - i think most people don't have much hope for tomorrow to be other than a word salad of marketing glossary terms - regardless what they say on here.

p100 - i thought yesterday was a very unusual day - wasn't it up 30% at one point?
so prob something behind it - whether manipulation or rumour etc etc

i suspect any significant rise will get sold into - because the odds are it will drop back if not the next day the over time. anyone seeing the rise yesterday knows that more salad later in the week and it will be down again.
people have already indicated they sold high and wait to buy back after the drop

P100...if it was a coordinated pump and dump...then they would prob look at stock and price patterns and news expected .

The SP here has been battered and I would think few would argue that is is currently undervalued by the market...assuming if the dispute went to court would be 2-3 years away.

The SP prob had some selling last week due to presentation and fear it could make things worse .

It prob would have got a wee bounce back anyway...and Of course now is a good time for a rumour/ speculation to fuel a pump. Low volumes also means that it would not take much buying to get an over reaction the other way.

i think there is most definitely a correlation between cash and mcap - i think the problem is that the market doesn't know how much actually belongs to ncyt.....is it all or is ulti,ately going back to the gov?

i think before the market thought ok well some cash may be used for some good acquisitions - that hasn't happened and also more income was going to be coming in - which it does not seem to be the case

anyway lovely way to start the week - i am ready for another 20+% tmrw!

just hope it does not all get reversed as soon as salad man opens his mouth!
