they are running the company badly from a shareholders point of view - due to a mixture being ignorant on how to do it right and or not really caring about shareholders. this is not unique to NCYT...many AIM companies do the same.
there maybe people looking at buying ncyt - but i doubt anyone will make a move before dispute is resolved. the problem is that anyone buying now could lose everything at the same tome - wait for the resolution and you could be paying £2/3

personally i don't see it.

you have to remember that ncyt were a tin pot organisation before covid..they now have lots of cash in bank - but they still have the same tin pot management.

they should have got someone used to being a ceo of a £200m company or whatever it was when salad man took over. instead they gave someone his first ceo job. and boy did it show and the sp has paid the price.

bio want out . they did not buy anything since salad day as the price crashed and have disposed when they got the opportunity last week near in their buy in price. sorry but i think you are deluding yourself thinking otherwise. that scenario - whatever they were keen on - has gone. pity but thats it. it is what it is.

people always want to believe things are happening in the background....but lets face it we had a year of those fantasies under salad man. when the reality was that there really wasn't much.

i still think the big driver for this share will be the dispute resolution - and i think given the info we have that it will go in ncyt's favour. i am not sure what case the gov have if the products concerned have obtained ctda approval?

i would expect a minimal M&A - £10m or so- to be possible. without affecting bulk of cash should things go bad in the dispute. Lets hope they are looking around. Not only would it boost sentiment but show some sort of forward plan

dsaf- they can self title themselves as they like..it is income that matters. what is the profit on £50k of sales of snake oil? can't be that much....certainly not going to break even on that

personally i would title them "the company who could not sell a test in a pandemic" or perhaps "the company who could not sell the last cold pepsi in the desert"

yep..i have to say i hovered over the button at £1.51 last tuesday for one of my tranches.....but then i thought what if there is substance behind it this time..it had been so fast and furious.

they did a huge placing at 4p and hardly bought any shares - so does not look like they felt it was that under valued.

nothing stopping them buying in -now - that they released the RNS of the super huge contract (£50k)

i am sure you will....you remind me of some others that have been on here and disappear. your strategy is to pump it on here for a trade. that will work for you no doubt. it is the others that could get sucked in for your 30% trade. if someone wins then someone inevitably loses with AIM "lifestyle" companies.

readers deserve to hear both sides of the story....something people on here with some agenda obviously don't want.
those of us on here who are more critical of the company are happy to discuss positions....

this won't happen. there are a whole load of bucket shop flippers who bought in on the placing at 4p 9 months ago or whatever it was . they have a gazillion shares they are desperate to unload having been trapped in. they will want out with them as they have a back up of a gazillion options...so no risk.

not sure it will be volatile enough for a quick trade for awhile. the max volatility was the pump and dump just before the £4m deposit.

there is no real driver of news coming...so difficult for a pump and dump at the moment....so you may be left holding for quite awhile

the danger of buying in and getting stuck is that you could be hit if the dispute is resolved and they pay out something to the gov.

agreed starbright....i suspect they have been waiting patiently for the opportunity since salad day last april. must have thought it was xmas 23 come very early.

lets hope not too long before they get an opportunity to dump the rest eg we are up to £1.50 again.
