I think the company have said that they think there are too many shares - however never been a problem before? and if they stopped doing placings then there wouldn't have been.

my own thought is that allows future placings...which were no longer possible at existing SP. company cannot place under nominal value (4p) and they prob don't believe it will go back up above that.

there is no single advantage to existing SH for it - and in my experience it only ever signals worse to come for SH

well the new share structure - would enable a massive placing dilution which could be bought by one party. in effect diluting existing SH out of the game. making it virtually private

tbh i am not convinced - firstly who would want to buy / own odx outright?

secondly as a private company they would have to rely on sales and profits - and that isn't going to happen going by past performance. much easier to continue to fleece mug punters as Tom W describes most on these boards

my prediction at the moment - is wait to see dispute outcome.

if goes against and they have to pay significant cash back - expect a placing sooner rather than later

the price was a lot higher when they came up with this gem..so even if the MMs play fair - it will drop.

in addition my suspicion is that when some realise what has happened and see more losses - there may be a bit more of a sell off.

anyone holding should be prepared for more possible pain

Atan - yes it is often a timeline that gets followed. Again as we warn there will be those that rather than listen will bury their head in the sand. if/when it happens they will no doubt blame us rather than the company itself.

i suspect there will be little cohesion between existing holders - could you imagine any of the current cheerleaders on here rallying the troops? they don't see to care enough and who would listen?

the bod will probably persuade the bucket shop flippers to side with them and that will carry it.

by hiding in on page xxx it has left little time to fight. smart move.

prob thought any holders would just tick all boxes on the ballot

whatever price it ends up on the conversion day..it will be able to be chipped down regularly every day a lot easier with slow erosion

Unfortunately after the share consolidation ..it could end up at 12 p which would be very bad news indeed!

Going to be really interesting to see what price on the day of conversion it ends up..and whether it just enables further erosion of SH value.

Unfortunately I have seen a few of these complications and there is usually more pain to come.

Plus at some stage could allow further dilution.

But the good thing is that the bod wages will be safe going forward..and for them even better that they don't even have the pressure of making substantial sales and year end profit

Lazy ..the problem is that the cheerleaders have never had a coherent argument against those critical of the company.

Hence the resort to threats / abuse / reporting posts / spamming / accusations of being paid by mysterious cartels etc etc

If we are always so wrong then surely it would be so easy to explain why .

The elephant in the room is that in my experience after a share consolidation the sp drops lower.... Relative to what it previously was.

At 2p ish there is not much more it can drop psychologically. However at whatever multiple the consolidation happens at eg £2.44 there is now a lot of room for drop.

Plus ask why are they doing it?. It enables a placing to occur which currently is not possible .

This is not a good move for LTH ..without even going into the ethics of how it has been handled..and should the be trusted.

Why do you not care? Are you invested? Do you have nothing to say on the shares you hold?

They are making a loss year after year.

They secured a couple of years wages by selling off the portfolio. However the gut tests are not going to be making a profit any time soon.

I suspect that they knew that they will need a placing at some stage. Sooner if the dispute goes against them.

They can't place below nominal share value..and it is never going to go above 4p with current trajectory.

Changing share structure will change nominal value and SP.

By changing the name..they in effect hide history as well..no plunging share price chart .

It has also assisted them in hiding a share consolidation..which in my view is a very grave matter.

Tbh what they have done is blinding for employees and bod..very clever to do now anyway and not leave it to the last minute or after potential bad news of gov dispute.

I think anyone trusting this company needs their head read

Atan - the worrying thing is why they are consolidating now - with a decent chunk of cash.

yes we know it will be another loss making year and cash down to £3.8m

If i were you I would be worrying about your portfolio and not other posters on here who have actually been warning you about this company for ages. your feelings towards us have possibly clouded your judgement?

Yesterday you said you already knew about the consolidation. If that is the case and you have known about it for some time then maybe that would have been a more useful subject to bring up on the odx share board rather than most of your other posts about horses tips and other posters?

but my genuine advice to any SH including you is to really consider carefully - if you can change the plan? do you still trust the bod
