Harchris - I don't know the companies you say are respectable - I will take your word on it. Just how anyone can have ECR etc on a list - just sends warnings. I was involved with them when they first started and they were one of the darlings of AIM.

as for the point on the other thread about a potential takeover.... i was responding to WB asking for a TO valuation on a successful gov dispute. so i took it to mean with ncyt valued in excess of £100m . So any takeover would have to be by a company that could afford that amount of cash with ease- I can't see a company raising via placing to buy ncyt. so i agree with you there that it would have to be a big company.

first of all big(ger) pharma quite possibly have an equivalent already. if they were really in need of such a product then they could easily have got ygen from under ncyt's nose. there was obviously a limit ncyt could bid and they could easily have matched them plus a small premium. why risk trying to buy ncyt at a later date when they might resist a sale as they don't need cash?

just does not make sense to me. i honestly don't see a takeover bid for ncyt. unless they lose gov dispute and the company ends up on its harris.

also confirmed they will make a loss again this year.

why would a company that continually makes a loss be valued at anything above cash?

when the cash is burnt - and that is what happens every year - there will be another placing.

There was a recent interview where a guy who knows nickel said how surprised they both were when the cost was originally projected..seems it was low for such a mine.

my guess is they got the sums wrong in the beginning - prob underestimated trying to get project off the ground....

then things always get more expensive as time goes on..

tbh i still expect a deal but closer to court deadline. this is invariably a game of chicken until it gets to the point of no return - when both realise that a deal will be better than losing.

slowness is also down to the inevitable bureaucracy involved .

Jotom - i am not a fan of putin..and yes he invaded ukraine so is to blame.

although i do accept that it is a complicated issue - and that there has been certain provocations

at this point - i have lost interest in the politics of it and just want a resolution. to stop bloodshed.

one has to be realistic. putin cannot afford to lose this war - and ukraine are only affording it by western finance.

without western support ukraine lose. eventually the west will find it hard to keep funding it with tax payers money,

things will probably get a lot worse in western economies this year...and already the ukraine invasion has taken a back seat in the news. average joe is not going to be happy with more funds being diverted to ukraine and places we can't pronounce at the expense of trying to get nhs services etc etc

Mv..sp often gives a very different market capital than npv.

Especially on aim...where sentiment plays a big part.

If the finance deal comes in with no dilution..then aim speculators will see this as being very cheap with multibag potential.

This should rocket sp up in my opinion.

Yes the share has taken a battering..and many will have lost if they sold out.

But sentiment can change in a heart beat.
