it would be hard to sell the whole 20% in one go on the open market - but you can sell shares in chunks...

companies might not want part ownership of a mine with glencore

yes the three could take it privately with little fuss - and that is the point they could have done it already if that was the plan..why wait until q2?

looking at their web site the most illiquid holdings are resource royalties...I don't see part ownership of a mine as one of their strategies?

Publican...it is precisely because mms don't hold a substantial amount of shares that they run out of get a surplus.

Part of their job is to provide a liquid market ..they need to be able to trade stock when they don't have it covered. They then go about balancing the books .

They got caught by surprise and I suspect had to sell shares that they didn't have... and now they havevto collect the

shares by settlement date.

There will be some profit taking and a drop in sp hits stop losses and causes a bit of a panic..you get sells..they pick up the shares they sold much cheaper..and hey presto

It is why a big gain is often followed by a drop

You might still be right about massive dilution...but this is not going to admin.
