Regarding Inflation / Gold.

Bloomberg is saying that the recent rise in Bitcoin is due to the 'search for investments to hedge risks from inflation'...

I'm not feeling incredibly bullish on gold yet. It seems to be having trouble even getting through the $1,830 resistance.

I agree that ARB is very cheap compared to the other miners.

The problem, is that momentum stocks, like all of these are do not attract attention based on price. Most of the people buying momentum stocks do not care about P/E. If everybody wanted cheap stuff, then Mercedes, BMW, LMVH, ... would all be broke. A lot of the volume in these types of stock comes from the call options, e.g. on Robinhood.

Yep, pretty poor. Maybe some day/swing traders cashing in after the rise.

Massive money pouring into other mining stocks. RIOT, HIVE, MARA up 10% pre-market. RIOT up 17% yesterday.

I'm wondering if the gradual rise over the past few days is due to Stockopedia (SIF Folio: Should I buy Central Asia Metals?).

I *do* expect to understand their cash position... In my experience of situations like this, the company will come out and make a statement to the market if it does not expect any imminent equity raises. PW has not done that. That tells me there is a sizable chance that he'll still do one. The market reaction also tells me that. I still have a decent holding in ARB and will reinstage it to full size once some clarity emerges. I'll be diverting the funds into RIOT in the meantime.

I did wonder that. Biles already has a lot of shares and if the price dropped significantly, maybe he'd pickup the rest and forget about INCE being a public company? I'm disappointed at the lack of progress. It's as though he couldn't give a hoot about private investors. I've never owned a share that has been frozen from trading for this long.

I disagree with the idea that 'GOLD MUST CATCH UP SOON'

It's hardly booming, is it.... Bitcoin is reaching new highs, because investor funds are flowing into it, while gold ETFs are suffering huge outflows. It's just supply-and-demand. I hope the situation changes, but this does not look bullish to me and if gold is not bullish, there is no chance of CEY rising significantly. If gold were to dip significantly, there could be a bloodbath for gold equities.

I'm getting the impression that the market still thinks there could be an equity raise. If he wasn't considering that, I would have thought he'd come out and make a statement to that effect - that the funds they've raised from the loan would be sufficient until stage XYZ of the project. I think the loan is great news and the rate is reasonable, but there's insufficient info for me to guage how much of the Texas buildout is available from those funds.

As that has not occurred, I've trimmed my ARB position.

MrCarats. I'm just stating the facts, as seen in Stockopedia. The fundamentals have undeniably improved. It's up to the market as to whether or not the technicals improve...I rarely argue with the market. It's the boss!

From memory, you have 4 weeks to appoint a new Nomad. If you don't appoint one within that time, LSEG will de-list your stock. I'm not sure what happens then, but I suspect you will then have shares in a private (unlisted) company and a new IPO would be needed to re-list the shares. I hope that INCE know the rules as it would be extremely costly to re-list the shares and it could do a huge amount of damage.

Stockopedia has just upgraded Iofina to 'Turnaround'. It's the highest ranking that the stock has ever had. This should result in more investors dipping their toes in here.

Wow, it's been a good few days. An amazing increase in interest. Hopefully the stock will see some PI interest in a few months time when the Lemmings start to arrive.

And management need to- and will be be removed if they cannot achieve that.

It's going to be fantastic value - ASSUMING that the management can get their act together. Their replies to me so far, don't yet inspire me. They somehow think that by making a wheel spin rapidly, means they're doing something useful, but a mouse can achieve that... fingers need to be removed.
