@Steve: Yes, I'd have thought a rise was due, but the markets rarely follow what I think...It does look as though the support has broken, but I'll be looking to add more at some point; maybe around the 145-148p level, if it reaches down that far.

The fundamentals are undeniably better than a year ago. For example, in Stockopedia, PDL ow qualifies for the 'Greenblatt's Magic Formula (Quality Investing)' screen. That was inconceivable a year ago.

Note that Gem Diamonds has also had a tough time lately and they have zero debt and a strong balance sheet. I would have thought with inflation woes, diamond miners would rise. WTF do I know...

I think it's a good idea. It should make the share more attractive to international investors, as the Yanks have brainwashed people into judging the quality of a company by its price.

The last time that I calculated it, the average holding time for RIOT was 5 days... If BTC plunges, it's going to be a bloodbath for the miners, so I'm sitting on the sideline, except for my ARB holding that I'm (unfortunately) wedded-to at the moment. Cashed-in all other miners at nice profit. Might top-up ARB if it retraces below 100p after BTC correction and/or equity raise.

Yes, I agree, it will never stop.... But that's a bad thing. It's not a sustainable business model. I've done a large (>100) trades on bitcoin miners and every one of them was ptofitable; I have two open positions left. I'm going to watch for a while for better entry points as ARB has become depressing to watch and they all have a pathetic business model.

The attraction of crypto miners is rapidly disappearing for me. ARB is now my only holding.

With the rapidly growing number of miners, it's far easier to play both the rises/falls with BTC options or just with BTC/ETH itself rather than navigate the continual dilutions of bitcoin miners. Any company that requires continual fund raises is not an attractive company to me; it's a joke.

Furthermore, other parts of the stock market are coming alive. I think ARB has a narrow window in which to shine now or it's going to miss this bull market cycle entirely.

I wonder if this iwll be yet another bull trap that these sneeky mongrels set? Pump it up a bit to get punters coming in and then slam it down again. We'll see. Seen it too many times to trust any movement of this share. Totally corrupt.

It needs more than that. The long-term holding performance has been abysmal. It's these dusty old giant dogs that defines the FTSE and why it's such a terribly underperforming index.

@GW2014: I F'ing hope you're right. This has been the dog of my portfolio for a very long time. Every time it looks as though it's free of fleas, there's an outbreak of the damn things... It's not as though it even pays an outstanding divi.

Iofina also now appears in Investors Chronicle's AlphaScreens from 8 Nov 2021. I expect that could be the reason that it appeared on Michael Taylor's radar.

I added another £4k worth. There is another 3x upside just to revert back to the 2019 high and we now have PFAS in the pipeline, with Biden already signalling that $10b to address PFAS remediation...

If a placing was really an option for Dundas, I cannot see any sense in beign invested in JAY. Why would any sane investor invest here at this time. Surely you'd just invest closer to the date after the dilution.

As the saying goes - 'muppets will be muppets'! The drop was just due to triggering on stop-losses, creating a superb trading opportunity.

Thanks for an great trade, guys. What a great opportunity! Close to zero risk when it was already 50% down on Friday, when the drop should have been 3-4% at most.........

Luis, I see two avenues:

(1) Make a complaint to AIM Regulation: aimregulation@lseg.com
(2) An Extraordinary General Meeting.

LSEG are more likely to look into this issue if they receive multiple complaints.

In order to achieve (2), you need 10% of the shareholders to agree. I don't think it would be very difficult to get that percentage. The problem would be to find somebody willing to organise it. Only a tiny percentage of shareholders would be represented on this board.

In my eyes, it is very clear that investors have been misled, because the CEO says one thing and does exactly the opposite a few weeks later. And that fiasco has led to the current situation:

@PATTS: I had a similar experience with Investor Relations, so I escalated it to the FCA and AIM Regulation, along with the video where he manifestly lied to- and mlisled investors. It is not an 'opinion' - it is fact. Biles is very naive if he thinks this will not reflect poorly on the share price and the indeed the company. I like the company, but I feel that serious damage has been done due to his arrogance.
