John a few points:
1.HairyF is always incredibly polite-why take that attitude with him?
2.Wasa-a LTH, very knowledgeable and very happy to share his balanced views with new holders and LTHs alike. My only problem with him is that I find him a little conservative at times on his targets and have stated that several times on this board-he is an enthusiastic large shareholder, but categorically not a ramper.
3.Finance-yes it could still slip. Several of the parties they are negotiating with are in North America. Our management cannot travel there so everything is done on Zoom-nowhere near as good as face to face. My guess is we get confirmation of the bond signoff in last 2 weeks of Sept. Cornerstone and Offtakes may slip a little as they finalise small details with lawyers. Under this scenario the shares still go up alot as the debt is the really hard bit in this huge and complex deal and we know that offtakes and cornerstone are pretty much tied up.

Given last 2 days volume and size/shape of some of the trades I would be very surprised if Kabunga is not very nearly out of his CLN shares, but agree he will probably hold onto the warrants for a better exit price.

Interested in people's thoughts on timing of announcement now we are here in September.I was originally thinking first two weeks of Sept,but beginning to feel that this might go down to the line in the last week.What I would not mind seeing is an announcement in late Sept saying the debt deal is fully signed off but just tying up final legals on cornerstone and takeoffs(which we know are pretty much in the bag).I think this would move the share price pretty sharply, before equity details are actually revealed.

Agree with you guys-from previous conversation with MB some months back he said he wanted all funding-debt,equity and off takes completed by Xmas.I think there is a very good chance of this timeframe being hit given the hugely attractive economics here.However,if we get one or two months slippage does not really matter as we cannot start construction until end of heavy rainy season-early April.

"My current opinion on Pensana for what it is worth is that we remain firmly in the orphan stage and indeed will remain there for the next 8-10 weeks until we get clarity and confirmation of the $250 million bond issuance-if correct that suggests another 8-10 weeks of a flattish stock price and for those with cash a good period to accumulate.I remain very convinced that funding will be successful and the project will go into production as planned.On the ATF we are up against some big players like British Volt who will ultimately be "directly" employing many more people than us-so I feel an ATF grant is currently 50:50-I see it as a very " nice to have",but not essential to the project.With it we get less equity dilution,without it equity dilution will be greater,but we still have a world class project.Still very happy with the £10 price target in 3/4 years that I calculated when I origininally invested.GLA"
Just from other shares I hold it is clear the orphan period is slow, boring and leads to many capitulating and getting out.The share initially falls sharply then flatten out-for proof see HZM or ACP charts.If you have a long term horizon like I do (this does not apply if you are a trader)the orphan period presents a great opportunity to gradually accumulate because if you have excellent management, excellent resource assets and an excellent strategy you will eventually get funding, management will execute and the shares will multi bag.
This has been a boring period at Pensana-not helped by the the deramping crew which is worse here than any share I have ever been in.However finance is now a matter of months away-keep accumulating and you will be well rewarded over the next 3 to 4 years-it will be worth the long tedious orphan period wait.
By the way I still encourage the excellent commentators on here to try and get on Telegram-alot of input on there-sensible negative argument is encouraged, but blatant persistent, same old refuted argument shorters are kicked off.Good weekend all.

Thanks Soundbuy-the very reason we will not be taken out on the cheap-when the bids come in for HZM there will be alot of competition for the assets.

Obviously this will be easier to calculate once we actually know the real number of fully diluted shares outstanding after the deal is disclosed.However,I do feel that some are over conservative on their valuations.Personally I believe that once A1 is into construction, the nickel price is $22k plus and the wider market is focusing more on the supercycle (which currently is not widely discussed in the more general financial press) you will see the market beginning to attribute much greater value to A2 and V-after all any predator will need to ascribe value to both and JM and team are not simply going to give these assets away.At this point HZM shares begin to really motor up.I think 50p is quite achievable once A1 goes into production (assuming 3bn shares),this goes a lot higher once A2 and V start construction and our nickel "district" starts to become a reality.
