The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
@argobull - I agree with the sentiment.
A 20pc discount feels too generous.
RTG announced raise today at 10pc discount.
A single dip to 200p around 12:00.
Thoughts on what's causing todays lack of movement ? Outlook for rest of week ??
@fulmar29... and this doesn't because... ?
@RR1937... there is no on/off switch... there is an "ion" in copper - a free floating electron in the molecular structure of copper. It just works, like striking a match. As for what to do once packet is opened - that should be explained on the packaging. Medical products will require a use-by date.
I agree packaging becomes an important element of the marketing mix. I don't think they have all bases covered in this regard.
@DMcG54... like it or not marketing is ALL about perception... its the step of making your customer "believe" in your product - whether it be tangible or aspirational. I would never let product images that look like sullied sanitary products, or masks picked off the pavement, appear on any 3rd party website advertising my products. You take control of your product image and it's pricing - its brand. A core set of P2F branded product images that look like medical products they are meant to be. So what I am seeing currently are 3rd party websites that undermine rather than promote the product. It's inexcusable. There's potential to segment the market into a premium category with bespoke fabric/design - if it meets the certification - and that could be another step - provided production capacity/certifications etc allowed.
RMS has turned some otherwise decent folk with hard earned savings into rightfully distrustful and worried beings.
The ONLY thing for RMS to do now... is deliver. And I do not care what the issues are to be dealt with.
Promises - reputations on the line - ramping text mssgs - delays - holding back on PIs - directors interests before shareholders (IMO re: option awards etc) - it's a $hit stick farcical affair. RMS never was the operating company that BRH claimed it to be at the time of the P2F sale.
So to all those with senior positions in RMS - people know about RMS, still, for all the wrong reasons. Salvage your own tattered reputations and those of Nottingham Uni. Until then I will drive round Nottingham than through it. Even the sound of the place makes my stomach churn.
BTC was pushing to break $51k for a couple of days. Anyone have a reason why BTC chart went vertical around midnight ($52k to c.$53.5k) ?
GLA
Question: had you known of the post-close fundraise, would you have sold (some/all) during yesterday ?
If yes, then overnight BTC breaks through $51k and is up close to $3k, so that overnight gain would be missed (coincidently I agree, but its been pushing)
We'll find out when mkt opens the net net effect of both. Taking into account - spread - MM & herd effect etc - I expect anyone who would have sold yesterday would buy back higher today.
Keep in mind: ARB cash flow from operations is its long term hodl. ARB has a long term view on BTC price (I wish I understood more about this). Unlike precious metals miners who sell production - ARB ihodls its production. Cash for operations and investment is needed from somewhere. I know my key learning is from yesterday :-)
A couple observations
- it is unheard of in a fundraise / placing (post-close) access is given to Retail. And ARB maxed the allocation. Credit to PW and ARB for embracing its PIs. You only have to check other RNS / BBs to hear 'real' complaints that PIs are not a valued investor group
- the US was an "investor" - singular
- the debt facility is not yet available to access so equity needed to crack on with Texas
- 121 million warrants in Pluto at 12p: I am a tad disappointed these are not at 6p raise price or less than 12p
- what price will Pluto eventually list for ? This could be a near-term multi-bagger for ARB and give access to IP
- I would prefer the fundraise discount less than 20pc (10pc or 15pc) but then again at least it isn't 25%
- investors are not looking for the quick 20pc gains, that's an incentive / insurance / non-cash margin. They are looking for multi-bag and its another endorsement of ARB and BTC longer-term
- I wish one of mine was crystal so I could see 12mths - 24mths - 5yrs into the future !!
Nothing but exciting to be part of the co. / learn about the tech / the quality of this BB
Credit to ARB for such a positive approach to PIs. Someone the other day mentioned that ARB was creating a brand. Just consider for a moment some of the companies that have become household names in the last 10 years... this is potentially mind-blowing.
As always DYOR

@zoro9791 simply buying at 260p doesn't make investing in Argo a foolish or bad idea. You could have bought in at c.320p as a recent peak. I wouldn't think of this as hype. Give bitcoin chance to take another run-up and you might even decide to hodl. As for Argo - its early days still and with a great vision and exec.
Looks like a couple of fish hooks in the last couple of hours... let's hope we net $51k with some conviction...

I have never in my years of business witnessed the type of ongoing confusion that surrounds this company and its product(s).
Computing a capital gain on shares.
Assuming shares are bought/sold through a regular trading account, the Capital Gain on a disposal of shares is calculated by matching selling date to acquisition date in the following order. These rules were introduced to stop "bed and breakfasting" - selling and re-buying across a tax year.
a) same day rule
b) 30-day rule
c) s.104 holding ("pool")
Search on-line for SA100/SA108 and HS284 for forms/guidance. Bit of tricky subject to go into more details here on BB.
@Racing Cyclist - I won't use up all my luck in the kitchen in one go - I'll do honey glazed carrots for Easter - not long to go till then :-)
@flowerpot999 - I saw $51.2k and now I don't. Returning to kitchen right away to turn up the heat again on those tommys:-) !
@Amanesia - c'mon... everyone knows roasting tomatoes is way more complicated than lasagne from scratch :-)
GLA
No sooner than I google how to roast tomatoes (need all the help I can get in the kitchen !) - and BTC gives a more confident tick passed $51k - I'll take that kind of help too!!
GLA
Been binge-watching Walking Dead from Season 1 (damn Season 8 is a bad a $$ !!) - but nothing gets the pulse racing like BTC price chart !!
Maybe China won't "ban it"... may be Chinese authorities will expropriate it and prevent it being held / mined by corporates/individuals ? Behind the scenes things rarely turn out to be so black and white.
@cranleigh - appreciate your post
@rollinhand - appreciate the clarification
@rollinhand appreciate the link
Curious on one observation. ZOE filed in Dec-20. Any thoughts why Pureis making a thing out of 1 minute past midnight on 1-Jan being "as soon as possible" ?
"This represents a significantly quicker turnaround than many anticipated, though Pureis did submit its application as soon as possible – telling CBD-Intel that it filed it one minute after midnight on 1st January 2021"
