Finally twigged why I cannot get into the top 50%!
I thought it was because nearly everyone aborts a puzzle if they make a mistake! So you are left with bright buggers and nobody else!
Then, today, I found that you can select your puzzle! On hard sudoko I don't think you can do that!
I selected this one that I had failed on and blow me down, it treats it as a first attempt!
I reached the top 50% first time - so I am competeing with idiots who get the solution and then hone the time it takes to the numbers. Feel a bit better now! I achieved this doing it honestly! So numbers were justifiablby certain not from memory!
Why? Because I cannot remember the order I did the game I just finished - and I hate cheats as much as liars! That;'s why my golf handicap was so rubbish! Bridge and golf are too easy to cheat - very ethical games in most cases (I hope I am not being naive, who'd think Sudoko was for cheats?).

If you want to challenge me (PY?) then I'll trust you dont cheat by repeating it as outlines above.

Good to hear Orapa is not finalised, I was concerned it was not on the map the other day.
My worry was that another potential CBM producer had been awarded the contract, which would have made it llok bad for the lack of progress on the ground by TLOU as the circus freaks are claiming!

As it is, it looks as if all the options are being interrupted in their quest to be no 1 in Botswana.
And it is still possible there is only one runner in the race which the audience at the circus hopes for!

TB, you are not taking into consideration the fact that Phase 1 part 2 funding and PPA have not materialised yet. Most of us think they have had plenty of time to produce a PPA of either size.
So why not 10MW - finding the wording for 2MW and then the residue may just be the problem.

How are people forming the opinion that we are after $10m funding as opposed to $30m?

BG PPA was for up to 10MW and that is $30m!

Lefoko tried to make up for colleagues failings to award that PPA for 10MW within a sensible time.
He ordered his mob to get one done pronto for 2MW and I think open-minded posters thought that would be completed long before now.

It has not , both PPA's are hopefully in the pipeline and it won't surprise me if 10MW is what we will be presented with. If you are a shop manager who cannot deliver an item on time so you offer a replacement for the interim period and that doesn't arrive either - is the replacement a priority? I don't think so! Especially if there would only be a few days between the deliveries and collection with all the disruption that brings.

What peeves me is that TLOU cannot tell us exactly what is going on because anything that does not go to plan will be quoted as a failure, whether the fault is theirs or more likely NOT!

This has so much readable content that choosing extracts is too much like hard work.

In short it makes the case for solar+water rather than gas+water eventually (once plant prices reverse, gas+water is currently cheaper). I'm with MM, until we are able to resume CBM farming time spent looking at Hydrogen is time well spent.

I picture the critics blaspheming on here if another company came in and set up a Hydrogen plant
while we were doing nothing to progress. Negative pricing is mentioned in the link, not in Botswana , but in the western world - I bet that isn't passed on to consumers.

Far from doom and gloom, and looking on the bright side, I wonder if a Hydrogen plant couldn't be installed at Lesedi with Solar and Water (green) in the time it will take to erect the Tx line, build substations , connect to the grid and produce CBM power. Clearly solar would be available for installation and testing if it transpired that way.

Blimey, £47 per fill? That is more than I pay for a diesel fill up currently!
I saw 264 miles range for an electric car advertised - so if hydrogen targets a similar number , £47 for fewer miles!

Found an indication of how much water below, a barrel is 42 US gallons perhaps, so 10k gallons a day?
That was back in 2014, and we know they have restricted the number of wells during Covid to reduce costs over an indefinite period. Critical desorption rate was maybe at 2k gallons a day at Selemo.

So up to 1000kg of hydrogen per day

You'll pay £9.99 per kilo of hydrogen, so a 4.7kg fill-up costs about £47, so £10k a day return? £3m a year?
