Were the first issue priced at 20p? Or 20c on ASX?

If they have it right then the option prices look to be the bargains we thought they'd be with over a year to go.

Given the good looking girls odd have gone out I have put £10 on the Greatest Showman girl from Malta - she appears in the video with girls who are a quarter of her weight , but she has the best song and she is quite a performer.

That is it on Eurovision from me. apart from Germany having an English song. Automatically qualified with the hosts Netherlands and both are 1000/1 - I don't understand anything any more.

Tlou is not brilliant at the current price with custodial fees possible on a quarterly basis.

My understanding is that they will issue paper certificates , and my broker charges £3+vat per month for holding paper!
I am prepared to request the paper to put on the wall , not the loo wall , as a memento unless the company hits oil and takes off.

Is it that a straight forward?

How on earth can Greece and Cyprus be higher odds now ion a field of 26 runners, compared to a field of 38 runners?
Italy and France seem to be favourites because they had a bye into the finals which makes sense.
Spain, Germany and the UK , as founder members of Eurovision, to join them along with the hosts, Netherlands.
The world is topsy turvy, with negative interest rates in play nothing makes sense any more.

Appi, Kabila Investments look a bit dodgy if they are connected to President Kabila of the Congo but the other link in Australia seems ok. Collie is the name of a coal mine in W Australia but could be the place rather than Ian. He does seem highly motivated to invest in cleaner energy so fingers crossed he is his own man and not a Congo representative.

My only worry about Lefoko is how often he supports the raw coal industry for planned electricity production.
He sings the praises of green energy so loudly , and that is a simple contradiction !

It could be that he is in the real world and short term coal rather than diesel makes economic (domestic coal vs imported diesel) sense until the new fangled domestic power from gas and solar are in production and diesel and coal will be history. It hopefully demonstrates how desperate Botswana is for sustainable energy and what a poor state Eskom is in.

I think sometimes shareholders in chatrooms forget that we pay directors to understand and act on such things on our behalf. When I buy a car I don't expect to have to know how everything works, and the same with shares!

It helps to know how to drive however, or in stocks when to buy.

Bought some baking soda today, you mix it with an equal part of flour and rats cannot handle the gas inside them and die! Poppy is so non-plussed by them it is annoying. They are in the roof void and I can hear them on the ceiling! I asked a woman in ASDA what the difference is between Bicarbonate of Soda and Baking Powder! She asked what I wanted to cook, and when I told her about the rats she had a Eureka moment - and said her son told her about that idea. She phoned him and confirmed it is Soda I need but also said to contact the council rat division because if you persist , despite the official line they don't have one , they will attend for £40 including 3 visits! The lady next door said the minimum contractor price is £240! The ASDA lady is expecting the rat man to visit later this week as one of the official visits. And she is the same council as me! You will have seen me quoting $12 and $30 per unit , and in OB's spot-rate post, MM quoted these figures, not as units but as Kwh and the two fugures are miles apart!

At great expense, I have looked to see what TG's units are and found they are gigajoules!

1 gigajoule equates to 277.77 recurring Kwh.

So MM's "Prices mostly vary from 2c/kWh to 12c/kWh" equate to $5.55 per unit up to $33.3 per unit.
Clearly, 2c is off peak when production is hardly a problem , and 12c will be the peak rate when volume is critical! I hope that answers any doubts you may have had. TG was speaking in 2015 so demand has risen , and supply may have faltered since then. (Moripule and Eskom).

Those figures back up the ready market idea! TG plans to undercut $30 per unit by a considerable margin (but expects the low price to beat $10-$12 per unit that was the limit in modern-day Australia, peak-hours presumably).

One day I might catch TG out , but , as expected , it isn't today.
