AIM - WINNERS

Kodal Minerals PLC, up 9.9% at 0.26 pence, 12-month range 0.032p-0.36p. The firm kicks off aircore drilling to find gold mineralisation at the Nielle project in northern Ivory Coast. The exploration firm says the 5,000 metres programme is expected to take two weeks to complete. Also in Ivory Coast, is Kodal's Dabakala project. An infill sampling programme there has been sealed all samples have been submitted for analysis.

Tlou Energy Ltd, up 3.7% at 2.70p, 12-month range 1.42p-5.50p. Announces it is developing a hydrogen strategy to complement its gas-to-power project. The company is seeking to use gas and solar to alleviate some of the chronic power shortage in Botswana and southern Africa. Tlou says the hydrogen economy presents "additional business opportunities". It adds it is "well-positioned" to produce hydrogen.

Good to see they are buys but the numbers are incredibly low in most cases.
What sort of accounts attract zero commission fees?

For me racing partly died when Peter O'Sullivan retired. I always love NH, I remember crying when Limber Hill beat Galloway Braes in the Cheltenham Gold Cup - I don't need to bet to enjoy it. But modern day coverage of racing is anything but enjoyable since the demise of John Francome and John McCririck (who died in 2019 I sadly saw when checking the spelling), so sad. I'd never own a racehorse because I'd be too upset if it was injured - let's get back to TLOU , and hopefully a happy future.

Tlou only have one or two hurdles to negotiate and then we will be chasing steeples with luck!
I once played golf in Salisbury , who have the tallest steeple in the UK!
One of the holes traverses the race course and I had to play a shot from the track :O)

My uncle used to be a blacksmith at Toddington (north of Cheltenham) and David Nicholson (the Duke) called in one day en route to somewhere. Bill was shoeing a girl's pony and the Duke expected him to do his horse immediately. Dream on! He had to wait which did not please him at all. Bill would see the girl's pony again, not sure about Duke!

My bookmaker has offered me this bet.

I put £1000 on a lifetime bet. I have to choose a horse for a particular race a week ahead. If my horse wins I have the choice of taking the winnings or declining them and continuing to the next race.
The bookie has a funded £1m into this venture , and if it runs out, all bets are off with no refunds. Likewise if the punter dies!

My first winner eventually comes in it at 3/1 but tomorrow I fancy a 33/1 shot.
Do you take £3000 profit, £4000, or wait for that race which it wins at odds of 5/1 on the day.
I face the same dilemma if I continue because there is a 10/1 in the next race I fancy will win.

The bet is called a TLOU and is based on a very different type of animal to racing stock.

That story is as close to how I view my gamble on TLOU as I can think of.
No bookie would offer you that bet, but it is available on both the FTSE and ASX today!

The options will cost 4.4p or 8c , and the bookie will allow us those prices up to July 2022 whatever the actual price is!
It is like like being able to back a 3/1 winner at 25/1 after it has won the race!

Interesting buys on the list, 3 x 250k shares over a couple of days. Could be someone doing the sensible thing and raising their funds for their options next year! Buy them at at 2.5p sell enough at 4.4p+ to fund their options and give that money to TLOU directly. It is a great opportunity providing the price by next July reaches a realistic price (a certainty at the time of placement until our sellers decided a one-day raising of £2.6m (from the UK alone) was bad news and made their concession price look expensive. The news since those investments , the broker was instructed to find long-term investors as far as it is possible, is better than it was before the raise but the sp does not reflect that!

Once vaccines reach Botswana there will be loads of sellers imitating Edith Piaf (1960) ! She was a Little sparrow in those days , much nicer than today's Great tits!

TLK, I have 1.4m shares plus 110k options but still have £37k in AVN which is operating(or not) in Africa and £13k in US Oil and Gas. I wish that £50k was in TLOU because both companies left the FTSE and still exist. TLOU has an Aussie founder, AVN has a Welshman, and GXG an Irishman!

They form the basis for a good joke - me - half English , half Scot? He bought a round , 6 halves please barman :O)

Have you considered putting a few buys on credit card TLK?
IG and Paypal have no charges , though the minimum IG will accept is £250 using Paypal (hence 3 x £250 from me).

I opened a Tandem card a while back! They paid 0.5% cashback - so it was a no brainer and it was about 3 months before I had to pay! They would not raise my credit limit, so I was paying it off early to make room for new transactions!

They then introduced a monthly charge for that card so I ditched it!

I'm living off a rubbish pension , so I have the option to sell my my new shares to pay the bill if I need to. £750 is well within budget but it would be easy to get carried away if I used some old credit cards that have much bigger credit limits than my new ones! I am very constrained when it comes to debt and gambling, (I don't consider TLOU to be a gamble) , so this is means of getting a free loan is not for everyone! But I guess those people are paying interest on their cards - and this is only any good if you pay the full balance every month!!!!!

At least this one will show as a buy! Higher prices paid shown as sells on the other days. Madness!

How low are people going to go? Got my frequent trader for July now and my credit card is a blessing.
IG allow deposits from Paypal credit card links at zero cost - so I won't need to find the cash until July or August - by which time I'm hoping 2.49p will be history for the right reason.

Last time I did this , the price had dropped by payment date - hopefully not again.

Another today - anonymous - unauthorised transaction on my debit card this time! As if a bank would use a recorded message to contact customers with no introduction e.g. the name of the bank.

Just received a new variety of scam, purportedly from Amazon.
This one thanked me for renewing my Prime account and paying £79!

Total tripe - just hang up if you get a call from Amazon - they'll never make that call - or the previous on which was rubbish for £39. I don't even have a Prime account!

As predicted, shows as a sell - I cannot believe it is beyond the wit of mankind to spot that in a sequence of trades below does not make it obvious it is a buy! I bet the 3 yr old would get this right!

The extremes (first and last) scream exceptions? My 2.575 looks certain, 2.532 lesscertain - until you see the next one is a 2.64 buy so looks like a fairly safe sell!

I think I'd prefer LSE to show the price and leave it to viewer to decide which are buys or sells.

9593 will no doubt show as a sell but clearly is not.

So TG has some record of debacles?
1. His fault the Govt issues a CBM rfp containing pre-requisites for COAL that were impossible for CBM.
2. His fault KE needed an extension on the rfp rerun, another delay.
3. His fault that Lesedi has unexpected water beyond the pail. A wetter shade of pail perhaps.
4. His fault Eric decided TLOU and KE needed to prove there is adequate gas before he'd back CBM wholeheartedly.
5. His fault that Eric was moved after the election.
6. His fault the the Govt lead us to believe funding and agreements were imminent, but they were not.
7. His fault there is a world pandemic that closed the business world formany.
8. His fault that the delays above mean we are earning yet!
9. His fault that dewatering had to be watered down for economic and logistical reasons.
10. His fault that Eric's successor has failed to live up to his promises of accelerated CBM support.

etc etc etc.

He deserves humble apologies by so many right now, and after he is able to resume normal service , a good old grovel is definitely going to be order of the day.

I wonder what this board would have to say, if the personnel on here were all on the SXX board!
You don't know how lucky you are. I have averaged down to 2p and 3p and 6c with the aid of the sellers on TLOU!

smbf, when we get to the position you describe, i.e. punters being able to reclaim all their TLOU stakes, I think you underestimate the FOMO factor. To jump after years of waiting impatiently will take enormous strength of character. And those of us who have waited patiently will be on the quay, no, not preparing to jump, but watching their ship come in, as expected :O)

Buying cheap options comes before selling off for many of us fairies. Fairy tales sometimes come true!
