Graham, I guess you're waiting for up to the deadline date for the options (supposing you have some)? If we haven't reached 4.4p by then (and TLOU do not extend the expiry date , if that is permissible) you won't the only one who will be thinking of backing out if they have not sold up already.

I find it hard to think that my Option B poles/wires + solar panels won't be installed by then IF the CBM route is not unlocked long before - and we don't win the Orapa gig - and Hydrogen hasn't been cleared for production!

The odss of everything failing to mature by then look to be comparable to Leicester winning the Premier League - and I defy anybody to say that any of the options is a pink elephant!
Any one of them will make us a viable business , and the other options will still be on the cards.

1. Pole / wires
2. Resume Lesedi drilling and full scale dewatering (#3 reopened)
3. Open Mamba for the pipeline to Orapa subject to us getting the work
4. ditto on the pipeline
5. Introduce solar panels at Lesedi
6. Use CBM power to create blue or brown hydrogen for 12 reason, 11 without bombs
7. ditto green hydrogen from solar

TG is so aware of costs that he will likely go for one of these 5 combinations.

A. 1 + 2
B. 1 + 5
C. A + 6
D. B + 7
E. 3 + 4

He will chose based upon the availability of funding, timings to expect a return on our investment and, in the case of E, whether subsidies are on offer to help with either aspect.

Long term all 5 might be expected , and there will be flexibility on which source of revenue we prioritise based on the price of gas, electricity or hydrogen! If hydrogen takes off as expected we might not have to expand the distribution to Serowe and concentrate on Orapa gas from Mamba (contract will tie us in imho) AND using Lesedi power (from gas and solar) to expand hydrogen production. If we are tied to 10Mw for Serowe it is not the end of the world.

Who on earth has more options than TG? Every avenue is open to him ONE OR TWO AT A TIME!

I once worked at a finance house who targetted people who were unable to open a bank account.
The annual TV licence at the time was £7 so they'd give you one for 50p per week over 16 weeks!
£8 repaid on a £7 loan sounded OK to most of them? But at that time the Govt ordered financiers to declare the apr %. The loan was ever reducing week by week and was over only for 16 weeks, from memory the apr they'd needed to advertise was 287% - an unknown rate decades before Wonga and others! 10 times credit cards which were around 30% when they came out and were considered outrageously expensive.

Due diligence reports are holding up offers currently, and TLOU will only be talking to companies whose repayment rates are at sensible levels. Some nations are borrowing at negative rates - TG might be trying to get higher rates to make their money worth taking :O)

We are in catch-22 , they won't offer loans until we are functioning again, and we don't want their money until we are able to spend it constructively.

Only one other poster has ever been concerned with the gas composition - you know that stuff that generates site electricity for the last 5 or 6 years from Selemo, and the dodgy stuff that has been flared at Lesedi for how long?

I have been investigating OB's claim that is a continuous process and came back here to find MM disagrees (which is what I concluded). The temperatures required for Solar electrolysis are trivial compared to most other methods. e.g. Water electrolysis can operate between 50–80 °C, while steam methane reforming requires temperatures between 700–1100 °C. That appears to me to be the comparison between Solar and CBM hydrogen?

The downside of producing hydrogen has always been the value of the electricity used inefficiently to make hydrogen - the benefits were questionable when compared to selling the electricity itself.
That makes sense, and I raised that weeks ago.

Unwanted Solar power during off-peak is ideally suitable even if it is only 70% efficient! All profit.
And the hydrogen seems to have other uses and is not restricted to producing electricity.

Gas welding
Automobile fuel.
In petroleum refinery
Ultraviolet lamps
Production of electricity
As a reducing agent
Potentiometry and Chemical analysis
Structural identification
In gas chromatography
In hot balloons

Those of you who think Covid has not stopped the world, need to look at at retail. In the UK , a leader in vaccination percentages, we have pubs and shops with billions of pounds tied up in goods that need to be poured down the drain or moth-balled? No income to pay for the outgoings and to cover the costs of their unsellable inventory.

This is akin to TLOU, if we'd taken a loan 2 years ago at punitive rates of interest to keep Whizzer happy , Tlou would now be doomed!

Depending who you believe Apple design their machines to last 3 or 6 years, and it comes down the paste they use to ensure the cpu and video chips make contact with their heat sinks.

After hours of investigation, and listening to the most boring people in the universe, I found this youtube with a really good alternative idea of baking the video card.

Where the lady varies from other baking videos is she merely polishes up the gpu chip and the surrounding area and seems to leave the paste on the heat sink as it is.

Until now, it has appeared to be vital to add new paste to the chip!

So is it the paste or is it weak solder joints as she suggests that causes the horizontal lines we have both experienced? I'm inclined to follow her video a chance and see if it cures the lines. If it does then I'd need to repeat the process (a lot more difficult on an imac than her tower) to add paste to the chip. And do I re-paste the cpu while I am at it?

Given up looking for that confirmation - all I found was in the Quarterly reports which said

Assuming they did meet the eligibilty content OR MORE LIKELY did not like the criiteria and requested it to be changed (after the RFP fiaso) - hence the extension that ended yesterday?

When they raised the TxL preliminary cash, Orapa's tender had not been issued , so could it be our plans are being delayed pending that tender approval or not. If we are successful, Mamba needs reviewing plus, perhaps, some plant needs to be hired or bought as a priority?

I'm sure I saw TG say we had entered into Orapa story before the first tender date?

TB, several years back on ADVFN, Donkey claimed exactly that.
The tx lines would be adopted by BPC and then the price of the power supplied would include compensation to TLOU for the costs of producing the TxLs.

I had no reason to disbelieve him but as we know he rarely tells the whole story or a link to the source of his claim, where we'd get the whole story.

As to the PPA's, I fail to see how either can be completed until estimated dates are possible. A PPA with "tba" against every date just seems meaningless to me! And time is money, so how do they agree on unknown prices?
