She revealed that 60-70 yr old memories have been proved to be better than people believe!
She confirmed what I have believed for a while - I keep forgotting items that Iwas told about only seconds or minutes before - and I thought it was short term memory loss!

Brad we've had the 2MW Interim PPA for over a year, but for what purpose now I have no idea - therefore of course the one under negotiation is for 10MW. As others have said all he's done here is to confirm they're at an impasse and that, despite comments to the contrary over the past year about the interim PPA and the recent fund raise enabling us to crack on, our future is still firmly in the hands of folk who seem to have little interest in progresssing anything. We learn from making mistakes, well most of us do, and I am happy to learn.
How I missed the signing of the 2Mw I don't know , but having watched the Darkest Hour with the missus and thoroughly enjoying it, I was flabbergasted when I watched it the other night and , apart from a few scenes usually involving Lily James, it was as if I had never seen the film before! Losing her and then the aneurysm must have had more effect than I remember, another issue!

I have always been concerned that if I was transported back in time with my memories intact, how effing useless I'd be!
I'd be able to tell the world about all our advanced technology in 2021 , and I would not even be able to show them how to make a bar of soap. I try to pass on anything I learn , but, under Covid , all I have is Poppy and this web site to bore!

Talking of which, here is a lesson for you!
Buys and sells are so often misreported on both LSE and ASX which identify them using different methods.
Why? When you want to buy you are faced with the price on offer , irrespective of whether you are happy to pay much more you'll get the low prices first. They are all SELLS because they were already on the books and you took them.
So you have to buy out every low sell before you can affect the sp.
It might take a lot of cash to do that AND THEN ONE TWERP CAN UNDO YOUR HANDIWORK BY OFFERING ONE SHARES AT A LOWER PRICE! The system is loaded in favour of many twerps against the few sensible ones who can afford to buy them out.
If we had a pact on here to buy any shares below our agreed target we'd get that price. A few hundred of us doing piddly trades each month would do it?

And, ASX clearly address this anomaly by treating each partial fill as individual trades! Hence the timings - 5 trades at identical times! It allows one trade to be shown as a mixture of sells and buys with the ultimate partial fill (or whole trade price) dictating their sp at the close.

ASX earlier was probably only 2 trades.
There were partial trades between 3.7 and 4c all at the same time.
The buyer polished the 4 lowest sells , and some or all of the 4c , technically they were sells , but in reality it was a single trade buying up shares at 5 different prices and 4c was the lowest price on offer at that point.
A second trade bought some more at 4c with nobody paying above 4c which staye constant all day!

It meant the closing price wa 4c an 11% increase on Friday which was 3.6c

The numbers traded were roughly 100k on each full trade, between 200k and 250k I think.

This looks interesting , but the full article maybe casts some doubts.

The transmission voltage depends both on the distance and also the power to be transmitted. The maximum power that can be transmitted at any voltage is given by approximately V*V/L in MW where V is voltage in KV and L is distance in KM. For example at 220 KV and for a distance of say 250 KM it ,the maximum power that can be transmitted is about 200 MW. So

if you know the power and distance you can calculate the voltage and then choose one of the nearest standard voltage.

So our plans are for 66Kv over 100 Km which comes out as 48.56Mw

TG has never been found wanting - as you can see I am so cynical - and hero worship from me is as rare as hen's teeth.

I think that concludes the first lesson - 66Kv is fine for the indefinite future, meanwhile gas pipelines and hydrogen can be added to our plans (if they are worthwhile) during the 38Mw or 36Mw expansion to the PPA's. The current sp is the chance of a lifetime - how anybody can doubt it is beyond me.

And of course we'll get all 100Mw - it only needs Kalahari to duck out of producing over 90Mw whilst TLOU have a head and shoulders start on them and only need 10Mw or possibly 12Mw to honour their preferred bidder status many years ahead!!!!!

Of course they won't - they issue another 88Mw or 90Mw to us - and will accept KE electricity if and when it ever comes!
200Mw is not enough for Botswana itself far less domestic and export markets!

That leaves the last 4 years, short and medium term dewatering disappointment and Covid!
Long term the dewatering will open up more than 10Mw if we go that way, and it is fact that extending gas flows is much easier once a site loses virgin status for gas. If dewatering was a couple of months a la Selemo, I reckon we'd have had funding, poles and wires in place before Covid struck!

So come on, know all, back up your claims with something tangible!

Land fill adds to it there is always an array of ventilators to reduce the risk of an explosion. It will always be true than CBM is less harmful than raw coal - an in Botswana opening new coal mines is still on the agenda I think?

If so CBM will have a future surely? MM asserts that blue hydrogen and carbon offtakes is very possible for TLOU.
I think we have several bases covered from carbon neutral upwards - for me and quite a few here, a good thing, for others a terrible thing if it means buying different baskets for our eggs.
