What you have done is remind me of a memorable event in my time as a taxi driver.

At midnight, I was sent to Poole Yacht Club to pick up a fair.
It looked to be a hoax until a gorgeous Custims officer arrived m dressed in full uniform like Richard Gere in Officer/Gentleman. I gave here a lift to the Customs Shed where my passengers were!

They had their car impounded because they could not pay the "duty" due on the contents!
A friend was going to collect then bext day and they wanted a hotel!

£20 later we had not found one with a room.
I proposed we go to Bournemouth where there are hotels everywhere!
They said, you may as well drive us home! They'd been quoted £300 to YORKSHIRE!

My wife needed my car to get to work and hers was being serviced at a garage!
I cannot believe I did this! We drove to the taxi base , I gave one of them my car keys, and he followed me to my home where we parked it for Liz and off we went!

I trusted the guy for some reason despite his dodgy story back in Poole.
He did not have a deposit even! He said we;d need to stop at an ATM to get £100 and he had £200 in cash at his house!

We dropped his mate in Fartown, Huddersfield! And then we arrived in Holmfirth at an ATM.
I was facing Compo's fish and chip while he got the £100. He said it had been sold for a million quid!

Next we went through Slaithwaite, (Where the Heart is), pronounced Slough-It, before going up one of the steepest lanes I have ever driven up!
He had a farmhouse at the top! In the middle of nowhere! He lived up to expectations and produced the £200 and I had the longest drive of my life home! Double vision and I think I fell asleep on the M1? Whether someone woke me by tooting their horn I don't know BUT I looked in the rear view mirror and there was a car in all lanes driving alongside each other behind me!
I wondered if I was drifting across lanes and they were waiting for me to crash?

I called Liz before 6am and told her I was somewhere near Barnsley. She wondered where on earth I was because the car was outside and I was nowhere to be seen!
I got back around 10am.

My kids told me that my social skills improved during my time as a taxi driver. Stories like that don't happen in an office with a VDU I suppose?

They put their diving equipment in the boot of the taxi, and the Police could find the owner of their car, so I did have some security. If he'd driven off in my car and left his mate with me it would have been insane! The guy from Huddersfield said he was only a travelling companion and did not know him until they met up to start the trip! He was a diving instructor as far as I can remember.

Jay, and others, the absence of an RNS for the buyer of those 30M shares made me return to the TR-1 for the seller!

And then I saw the answer! I never looked at the sell price!
It was 6.5p so it was reported as a buy when in fact it was a sell!
Paying a premium for large buys is to be expected but I don't think getting a premium price for a sell is usual?

My suspicion is that the 30M buy took a week or two to fill and the average over than peiod was 6.5p

The final tranche was probably withing the spred at that time but the weighted average was way above the spread so looked like a buy!!!

A weighted average is a way to get a more realistic average.

e.g. 1 1 1 1 3 3 3 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 5 5 6 6 looks like an average of 3.5 (1+6)/2
the weighted average uses the sum of 4x1 + 3x3 + 15x4 +2x5 + 2x6 = 95
divided by the number of items =4+3+15+2+2 or 26
i.e. 95/26 which is 3.65384615385 I expected it to come out nearer 4 :O)

Great. What I did not say, is that I feel certain the conglomerates will sell us the rights to take timber from their news plots under the 5/6 trees per hectare per 20 years policy.

Woodbois' timber resources will therefore spread, inside and outside of Gabon and the potential is enormous.

470k hectares of forest will qualify for credits and actual credits will be forthcoming then.

BUT what you are missing is that this company is doomed to MEDIOCRISY if you are right!
It will be in the same state as it has been for 20 years, struggling to make profits but adding the cost of the carbon credits team to the cost!! I don't suppose Michael Floyd comes cheap in today's market! He is one of few qualified experts.

Where do we differ?

Forward carbon credits!
We plan to manage new plots that have been bought by conglomerates spending possibly £100M on those plots! Once it is possible, i.e. reforestration of those barren plots is underway by our expert management, we will issue FORWARD CREDIT CERTIFICATES which guarantee carbon credits in the FUTURE!!!

The conglomerates can sell their FORWARD CREDITS and we will take our cut of those credits!
Those cuts will FUND OUR PROJECT until meaningful profits come flooding in after 5 or more years! At that points the certificates are redundant and all parties will receive true credits worth the prevailing price which is going to massive by then! The price will increase steadily throughout the whole period so every increasing funding of the project will benefit expansion into Mozambique and other countries.

I am going to try and take a step back at this point. I am not reading moagi who has calmed down on his criticism of the TLOU board.

BC is a different beast - he makes moagi look intelligent!

Woodbois up 14% today and I added them to my portfolio in case I live to 100!
Carbon Credits are payable on the amount of CO2 removed from the atmosphere so it will be a few years before new trees do that significantly. I am expecting to sell WBI at a profit next month and make up my TLOU shares with the money.

That statement should guarantee a rise in the TLOU price I reckon - Murphy's Law?

Hope some of you benefitted from the ramp about WBI at the weekend. whether it was legit or not.
Imho TLOU/SM will be subject to similar legitimate ramps once SM completes the Carbon side of their prototype.

My silly little £300 got me over over 18k TLOU @ 1.66p which looks pretty good. Should have put it all into WBI but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

The link is to the URL it is supposed to be at - so there is a chance Ronald Brown is legit as one of their authors!
I tried to register to see if I coud check him out but there was no apparent way to do it. This leads me to believe he is registered and has published previously acceptable posts on there. WBI have mixed views on it's authenticity but the giste of the ramp looks sensible if a bit over the top by a megamile.

I thought it was so compelling that a price rise was nailed on.
Instead of topping up my normal stock to keep my frequent trader rates (3 trades per month needed) I used 2 on WBI and the other on my usual one.

WBI and TLOU are both well placed for carbon credits and the ramp showed me both companies will benefit from them until they are phased out, if that happens!

Doing so got me 18020 TLOU @ 1.66p each as a result - small beer but a win for me which is rare nowadays?

There is money to be made from Gabon - more than enough for most of us!
