Jonah , Mozambique do not have sequestration laws yet, and it is not as productive as Gabon on the growth rate of trees.

Gabon however appears to offer us BOTH and sequestration is clearly the priority for Woodbois.
Timber trade is worth 40Bn globally and Woodbois is looking to grab prehaps 3 percent of that market. 1bn to 2bn perhaps.

That is underway with 2 CEOs overseeing the progress.

How much proof do the trolls need?

One word of warning! I have been down this route before! I think the Sirius CEO was too ambitious by planning a port, underground tunnels from Whitby to Redcar , a fleet of ships and other foolish plans.

The company began in Yorkshire where Rio Tinto drilled for oil! They found potash instead and at $50 per tonne it was not worth mining! And Rio Tinto were not into fertiliser anyway! That was in the 1960's!

Forty od years on, Potash was selling at $800 per tonne and Sirius wanted it!
Rio Tinto recorded seams 5m deep! Sirius drilled to prove it and found they were 22.5m deep!

Voluntary credits are $10 , chasing $60 and likely to rise even higher!

I cannot accept credit for the armchair posts , it was found by Jay , a self confessed newby who is desperate to learn about investing in shares. He should be as proud of his achievement in finding that armchair interview , as BC should feel humiliated at how stupid he and Grefriars are revealing themselves to be.

I don't understand why the armchair interview has not been included in the Woodbois presentations page because it clearly demonstrates what Ronald Brown claims about the change of direction on carbon credits planned/being executed by Michael Floyd!

There are patches in our current forests that were deforested in the past and will be recovering and earning carbon credits. And existing immature trees will be maturing and increasing carbon sequestration!

With the change of direction, to maximise ex-ante earning they need large plots of land which can be reforested and they are too expensive for Woodbois currently!

It is as plain as day, that Paul and Michael are throwing most of their energy into finding buyers of suitable plots who need our skill in managing their plots (Paul) and the NOUS to realise ex-ante carbon credits (Michael and Paul).

I am not looking forward the the school holidays when Billy Bunter will not have homework to hand in or lessons to attend!

NOTE THE DATE THAT GABON PASSED THEIR CARBON LAW AFTER 3 YEARS ON SEPT 13th!!!

We have half a story.
I was expecting the buyer to feature in an RNS and assumed the seller was going to be multiple shareholders with a decent holding averaging much less than 6.5p who’d hope to buy back cheaper!

But it looks like 2 trades of 25m and 5m from Lombardier!

I don’t known if Woodbois are permitted to perform a stock buyback without notice of their intention. It is a remote possibility. It will be interesting to see who it is.

This is painful to admit, but the trolls article on carbon credits is excellent! I wonder if they realise the gravity of it? It backs the Financialnews article and my unapologetic support of it completely!

Avanti (AVN) has gone into administration soon after writing of a fortune in debt .
They started at £7 , were tipped to go to £23 eventually , used Ariane to launch their first satellite (broadband for space for Africa and the middle East and Europe) which was tipped to bring price to £9 is successful.

Despite everything going the plan satellite wise they got into debt because they could not the African dealerships off th ground. The price dived to £3.50

They left the FTSE a while ago and have been valued at 12p with Jenkins!
Another shed load of money gone unless the receiver can rescue some which is unlikely.

TLOU used to continually talk about CBM Power and it was causing confusing on here and Advfn with a few posters believing they were talking about providing GAS rather than ELECTRICITY.

I was correcting posters quite often and eventually criticised the company for saying CBM Power on here.

Since then nobody has posted that we plan to deliver GAS except in talk about a pipeline to Orapa (guilty milord).

The financial news has definitely put Woodbois on the map - just look at the trades per day!
Most of them are newbies and it is great news for Woodbois.

Amongst the newbies are people whose WBI lives did not exist and die in August of last year!
They saw the company has revised the period of 6yr to 5yrs and confirmed that FORWARD CARBON CREDITS are indeed an untapped resource!

The statements above plus news of timber losses reducing and possibly ceasing make this a brilliant investment whether in the medium or long term! Long term the dividends will be welcome. The "news" merely drew me to this company and I like what I see from the company but not this chatroom, apart from some fellow newbies whom the cupid stunts are scowling at for pinching their seats in the pub and taking over the dominoes and dart board!

The biggest danger to that is messages from trolls which are casting doubts if I am right!
Long term holders and newbies alike are profit taking and dragging down the price instead of sitting back!

I want to build my holding so they are helping me but the trolls are the frauds or hoaxers here!

Profits and Income are being confused by the trolls!
They go hand in hand but in the same way as Expenditure is not a Loss!!!!

Income and Expenditure are the basis for Profit and Loss!!

If Forward credits cover the expenditure with money to spare they produce a profit!
If they do not, they have reduced the LOSS!

The so called HOAX expects either to happen!
BOTH will raise the price dramatically - decreasing LOSSES is very attractive to investors - and profits even better with possible dividends coming online.

If the price is steadily down for days, it is pretty obvious that sentiment is unfavourable!
And vice versa if it rises for a protracted period then sentiment is very positive!

In between is normal trading.

In a market place where there is a sole trader, if there is a terrific demand for his goods, the trader might realise he is not charging enough and put his prices up so his stock lasts more than a few minutes.
If other items are not selling and won't keep for tomorrow he will drop the price rather than throw them away!
i.e. supply and demand!

Now consider shares! If there is only one seller and one buyer the same applies!
But in the case of stocks every customer is a potential, or dare I say, a definite trader, because nearly everyone will have their price (outside of the boardroom perhaps?).

So what happens on a busy stock?
1. Buyers snap up the cheapest stocks until they are all gone. That leaves unfilled orders AND bidders will continue to pick up stocks at ever increasing prices (as the cheapies go first) until their orders are filled or there are none in their price range!!

2. The highest bidders disappear, orders filled!


2. Eventually the highest bidders , targets met, leave the arena.

3a. That leaves all the other buyers on the books where it is stalemate unless they raise their price or 3b happens!
3b. Meanwhile sellers are unable to sell unless 3a happens OR they reduce their prices!

4a The buyers are likely to try small increases first.
4b The sellers my also drop their price by the minimum too!

Voila!
5 Whichever happens first the next trade price will be reflect upon 4a or 4b or both.

Large increments on 4a will raise the price as you expect!
Small increments will increase the buys but the price has fallen?
QED?

The spread is determined by us offering stocks for sale, and offering money to buy shares!

The latest RNS reveals a 0.56% drop in the holdings for MCM Investment Partners SPC - MCM Sustainable Resource SP 4.44% *** to 3.88% *** which is where the mystery buyer presumably got a third of his shares from."

Jay they are a guide but are totally fallible!

Some exchanges , LSE included , decide on whether a trade is a sell or buy by comparing the trade price with the spread at time of the trade.
As you probably know one transaction can be composed of several partial trades at different prices which immediately causes problems. Which prices do you consider?
Brokers use the average price in such cases, or the whole trade price if it completes in one go.

Next they take the mid-point of the spread (on partial fills there might be more than applicable spread too). If the trade price is below the mid-point it is deemed a sell, and above the mid-point it become a buy! If it is exactly the mid-point it is UNKNOWN!!!

ASX (Australia) treat partial fills as separate trades so there is one spread and one trade price for each one! You cannot see from the trade history if the trades are the whole story or just a partial fill! You are more likely to see trades of 1 share on ASX as a result!

A trade of 1 share on LSE is only really possible if someone trades 1 share OR there is only 1 share available and you cancel the remaining count or it times out!

I buy on IG's FIXED QUOTES on LSE (unavailable on ASX) which guarantees the price I pay!
Clearly I go for the best price and that is frequently less that half the spread! My buys are often recorded as SELLS which is peeving tbh!

LSE also calculate the closing price as the mid-point of the spread at end of trading, unless there is a UT (uncrossing trade) where the books are balanced afterwards if the a buy and sell order prices is so close they are worth pairing up. The UT prices can be used instead!

On ASX the closing price is the trade price of the last trade on the day! That allows the likes of us to determine the closing price if we time it well! I have done it prove what I claim! LSE will cost a fortune because you'd have to change the spread yourself! To raise the low send means your sells will be snapped up immediately! Bargains! To increase the top of the spread you'd have to buy the whole book and them offer a sale at your required price!

Both have benefits!
