A month ago nobody had heard of Lovely Leeds.
We have learned she is a Leeds United fan , Leeds have suffered terribly from red cards in that month and are in deep trouble with players being suspended at a critical time!

As a result of our chat , I have learned LL is a realist and accepts the situation is dire for her boys! They are depending upon Newcastle getting at least a point at Burnley , managed by mt teams ex-manager who has several of my team's ex-stars (Ritchie, Fraser and Wilson - all internationals) in his squad.

At the other extreme we have BC, shooting down my opinions, bossing us all , and we know SFA about him. I have my opinion of course. He is the mrmoagi of this board! Full of generalised ideas with absolutely no arguments to back them up!

If I have made a mistake , I want to be told , but nobody agrees with views nor demonstrates why I am wrong ever (here or on TLOU). No chat, in other words!!!!

LL also queried if there is moderation in place on this site, and the rules are there for for all stocks including Woodbois.

The future of Woodbois shareprice depends on newby money because long term holders should have exposed themselves enough already.

I am a newby here, over exposed completely on TLOU, prepared to sell a few of my 7 digit shares in favour of Woodbois stock. But the prices of both will have to be right after 6 years of waiting for TLOU to come good. Africa has been a poor location for me - nothing happens over very long periods despite companies doing everything expected of them.

Add lockdowns due to Covid and the place has been stagnating for a couple of years.

The world is returning to some sort of norm and Africa looks closer to opening its doors at last. I am hoping Paul Dolan is indeed making profits from timber in Gabon and that large investors are desperate to enter the arena to profit from carbon credits. I have read the profits were announced following some irreular accountancy processes. I know as little about Paul as I do about posters on this board!

How do we know who we can trust if we don't lern about each other?

BC resists any challenge to his authority on here, but I hope I have managed to show his opinions on here are simple ill founded. He has blinkers on regarding credits, has ignored what Paul said about forward trading them to fund the project, and ignored the appointment of Michael as carbon credits manager in 2021!!!!

Would a CEO appoint a team of people 7 years early if 2028 is the earliest date they will be operational????

If his views are worth rowing in with then I wish you well in your investment! You'll need a lot of luck if Woodbois are reliant upon the proceeds of Gabon timber to keepGabon going, create a business in Mozambique , and get to carbon credits some time after 2028.

How long has timber been producing a profit in Gabon?
Is Paul capable of turning a decade of a losses into massive profits without carbon credits?
Is he the new Paul Daniels? He needs to be if BC is right!

It is a question of give and take. Many sites are laissez faire at the weekend when the exchanges are closed and news is rarely forthcoming!

In our case we often refer to Woodbois or financial trading involving Woodbois so I'd rgue we are within the rules.

I have set up or entered into clandestine links with other posters in the past.
My first correspondent posted a temporary email address and asked me to use it.
He then asked me to post on the LSE site and to include a particular phrase or saying in that post so he knew Brad Smith the person he was mailing were the same person!

I thought it was genius.

Personal stuff is not acceptable to many LSE posters - but I refuse to be bullied by the likes of BC and will post more than I actually want to just to annoy his type! Hypocrites writing about me instead of the company as if that is acceptable. Especially when it is none of their business after a head to head like we shared on Elland Rd and Dean Court.

I won't discuss football unless Leeds are relegated and Bournemouth buy Bamford to partner Keifer Moore (if he is still with us! Nat Phillips has been taken back by Liverpool as things stand - I'm hoping we can buy him or take him on loan again for next season). He openly says he has loved his time in Dorset! You are not alone!

A word of warning though LL , you are more likely to be suspended by LSE moderators than I am. Until you have posted a substantial number of times (hundreds or thousands) they can be less tolerant of breaches of their standards. After years of people like BC complaining about me they probably recognise my username and know that I am on topic most of the time. Either that or they don't like snivellers either :O)

I am looking for the word "replant" and the above RNS includes this, and supports the logic that we can earn carbon credits from our existing holdings. Jonah's thoughts about natural reforestration will definitely have occurred since illegal felling so the relatively new trees will improve with time and earn credits surely? I cannot search the spoken word, does anyone remember whether Woodbois have mentioned this RNS in an announcement?

I am not in dispute with you Jonah, I am just trying to satisfy myself what the facts are, It is the Systems Analyst in me forming a mental picture of how things really are. The term reforestration does not seem to have a tight definition and , like beauty , is in the eye of the beholder. It probably varies between the zones in question and both our views are valid depending on the zone? New zones clearly need assistance to produce the perfect forest on a mix of several issues.

The Company's new reforestation activities will extend an existing commitment to provide long term economic and social development benefits in Africa. Woodbois has an established presence in Africa with production facilities and forestry concessions in both Gabon and Mozambique.

Gabon for example, is one of the world's most densely forested countries with a unique local bio-climate, which is suited to rapid tree growth and optimal CO2 sequestration. I was mystified that the RNS from the 16th raised no comment, and thought it must have been expected following previous discussions/chat on here.

The gravity of the announcement may have escaped some of you.

For Woodbois to attract partnerships, initially in Gabon, but in other countries too, we must offer cash rich partners a service they cannot provide for themselves.

The main factors are
1. Experience in reforestration or brand new forestration.
2. An ability to PROVE that their future claims for carbon credits are accurate.
3. To eventually make their TIMBER profitable and sustainable so carbon credits continue.

Happily the RNS shows Woodbois have engaged a partner to cover factor 2.
"World Forest ID's science-based analyses provide irrefutable verification of species identification and origin, meaning Woodbois Limited will be able to provide proof that wood originates from its concessions, as well as confirmation of botanical species."

The word irrefutable is so encouraging, so factor 2 is in hand.
The other 2 are exactly what Woodbois is achieving or planning to provide for themselves.

I remember hearing that Woodbois are expected to collect partners who want to cash in on carbon credits and Woodbois will manage their newly acquired land on their behalf in return for a share of those credits. I guess the source was Paul Dolan rather than a poster on here as I originally thought.
Paul certainly expects a flurry of companies from his podcast and decribes finding such partners as the least of his problems!
If he has potential applicants already, maybe Woodbois were asked how they would satisfy carbon credit providers with proof they are due and payable? Or more likely Woodbois need that level of service themselves?

Jonah got me thinking a while ago about what reforestration means and I cannot find an idiot's guide to verify his claim the land will be left to look after itself. I suspect Woodbois will add new varieties of tree to suitable areas , and maybe remove other varieties which produce the wrong sort of timber or low carbon deposits or both? But apart from getting my Woodsman badge when I was a Boy Scout I don't know much about the subject.

With timber producing a profit , and anticipated greater profits to come does Jonah mean that the spaces created will be expected to repopulate naturally? And are we adhering to the rule of 5 or 6 trees per hectare over 20 years already? I'll have to search the historical RNS.

I will repeat , in true BC100 fashion , after he manages to get HIS OWN THREAD deleted, this relevant FACT about a derivative relating to carbon credits.

YET TO BE PRODUCED means they dont exist yet , but the seller will be PAID (subject to a certificated guarantee) as if they do!

After 5+ years , true carbon credits will start to arrive.
The early ones will close the forementioned certificates/guarantees.
Once they are all closed, Woodbois will have the freedom to do what they will with subsequent credits. Exponential growth of trees and credits is likely by then. When will be determined by how many certificates have been issued!

My hope is that the cash being accumulated from certificates will permit us to buy our own exclusive development sites. Mozambique will require plant to get started , and Gabon may need additional hardware and staff.

I took my two boys to the 1990 May bank holiday match!
Thousands of season ticket holders sold their season ticket (effectively one match in value) for the full season ticket price! That included an old guy who sat next to my 10 year old, and I had a Leeds supporter next to me in full regalia. I asked him how in got in!
He said he could not believe his luck! He was outside the ground and an inebriated guy came over to him and said the police would not let him in because of his state! He chose an obvious candidate to take his ticket and GAVE it to him!!!

Leeds scored the only goal and I could not believe how many people in the main stand stood up!

What was not reported was the Leeds fans with tickets standing 4 or 5 deep at a corner of the car park shouting at yobs in the car park to "leave it out" as they threw any debris they could find at the crowd, the car park was rough ground in those days, stones everywhere!

As we left the ground it was difficult to get down the steps because Leeds fans were entering to celebrate their promotion!!! Police and local council asked for the fixture to be moved away from the bank holiday but the Football league refused - morons!!!!
It was rumoured the Police asked the club to lose the match to avoid hostilities but who knows?

Burnley fans will be better - a terrific fanbase from a tiny town given their achievements.

On subject, I cannot get a price below 6p to buy WBI and the recommendation has been upped to 6.5p on the website. I thought about selling a few TLOU but at 1.6p that would be stupid.

My money is largely invested in TLOU and my savings are my late-wife's savings which she happily refused to let me invest for her! I am sorely tempted to use savings to buy a decent tranche here. It is a difficult decision to decide what the trough is going to be!
We could be there already , but I guess there is plenty of profit takers with a low average price whoare awaiting a deramp on here before they sell a few?

Equity release on my house is another option to using savings , has anybody got views on equity release? My boys are property owners already and will probably sell my house anyway.

They could get the equity lost on the house with a handsome profit from Woodbois but that depends on how many more years I have? Getting too morbid with the sun shining for a dog walk! Perhaps the price will match my hopes after some pooping scooping :O)

5 years is a lot better than 6 years because there is less time in which we have to raise forward credits , and we can start to clear existing ones a whole year earlier with actual credits.

With Gabon expecting to increase turnover/profits dramatically during that period it looks like a win/win in 5 years - one less year I need to survive to see my investments comes good!

I am switching my focus from TLOU to WBI because I have plenty of TLOU shares to ecover my HMV and Sirius losses and pay for a rest home in the future perhaps, and WBI looks equally exciting!

It is nice to have something to look forward too.
Tlou provides Hydrogen and carbon credits, CBM power and carbon credits and solar power.
Woodbois has Gabon, untapped Mozambique as yet but huge acreage, and other African countries with potential from which they can produce timber and carbon credits.
It should be a fascinating experience.

In Bournemouth's great escape season we went to Brentford who were challenging for promotion - the opposite to us! Mel Machin's barmy army is still ringing in my ears all these years later! It started before kick-off and was incessant throughout the match and beyond!
Never have I been part of a such a crowd , and we are not renowned for being loud supporters
especially in those days given our crowd sizes!

The match was memorable , Scott Mean put us ahead , and Brentford equalised , and then Steve Jones scored the winner , spoiling Brentford hopes , and keeping us in the survival race needing a win at home against Shrewsbury managed by Fred Davies , ex-Cherries keeper , and three early goals made it embarrassingly safe. 9 points going into December and we stayed up!

Bees fans must have been disappointed and invaded the pitch!
They advanced towards us en masse and a great day for us became threatening!

They reached the edge of the penalty area and produced an experience that still brings tears to my eyes! To a man they put their hands above their heads and applauded us Cherries fans for our support - it was amazing and I'll never forget it - great fans! And Griffin park was unique in those days with a pub on each corner of the ground :O)

I want BC to see sense - his opinion of how credits work is more unlikely than the world being flat!

My opinion is that Woodbois will sell credits on the forward markets very soon in return for PROMISSORY NOTES FOR ACTUAL CARBON CREDITS at some stage in the future. Once we have received enough cash to buy our own land we can develop it and wait for credits to roll in after maybe 6 years.

The early credits will close the forward credits anf then we’ll be flying!!!!

If it pans out there won’t be much dilution and our shares will be worth having for the dividends alone!

If BC is remotely right there will be debt and dilution galore from placings! The money has to cone from somewhere for those 6 years!!

In short Jay this share looks to be a belter!
But like all AIM punts it needs an honest reliable CEO to be correct. They are like good dust imho! Most sound believable.

Ronald Brown article and Paul are singing from the same hymn sheet imho - that is a good start unless you trust BC!

So how on earth are Woodbois going to get to 2028 without going broke?

If Timber supports us for 6 years then it will be totally established as a going concern! We will never need carbon credits for our bread and butter and they will bring windfall profits from whatever date you dream up for them?

Now explain why Paul said “Forward credits will fund the project”. The project is self funding by your logic!
Carbon is just caviare in 2028 or later.

I was an open book on my trading here,LL.
Like you, I bought 2 lots at about £100 each and 1 lot of TLOU of £100 to get frequent trader rates from my broker next month!

IG minimum LSE buy is £90 so I round that up , and 3 in a month qualifies for the following month and waives any quarterly custody charges which (@ 1.7p) I would be liable for on my ISA or Nominee accounts. They do not allow options to be held in an ISA so I have both accounts for that reason. The option date is over June and July at 4.4p per share and looks likely to fail unless Synergen come up trumps immediately!

On WBI, I took the small profit and bought a higher number of TLOU shares whilst reading up on Woodbois and Tesla etc and deciding this one might be worth following!
Coincidentally I had a dividend of £93.93 in another broker account so I used that on Woodbois for the long term. Further dividends are earmarked for Woodbois and I might top up below 6p!

Ronald Brown has not updated today , his recommendation is to buy below 6p , and that will be that I reckon, unless the price goes north anytime soon.

Pump and Dump is not quite what you did. Yours was more like DayTrading. A pump and dump is doing what Ronald Brown did , ramp the share , get the price up , sell existing shares at that price, (or short sell if your broker allows shorting) , and then deramp to collapse the price and start panic selling , before buying back cheaply or simply pocketing the difference!

Short sell may be new to you!

You borrow shares from a long term investor and promise to return those shares by a date!
You will pay them a fee and if a dividend is due during your tenure you MUST PASS IT ON!

The long term investor can still sell the shares you hold which makes it a detestable process!
If they do, your broker will simply borrow your shares from another client and they may not even be told!!! It is illegal in some countries!!!

Your shares could fall victim to this, but in practice they come fromlong term investment funds who want the dividends.

You might see posts elsewhere where the advice is to offer you shares for sale to stop them being shorted?
You offer them at a silly price , for WBI £5 say over a long period. Nobody will pay that much currently but your broker is now unable to borrow those shares because they are up for sale.

WBI SHORT POSITIONS ( below SHARE TRADES at the top of this page) reveal none!!!
This is normal for AIM shares which is good. Shorting shows price manipulation is almost guaranteed. Shorting a company that goes bust is the ultimate deal! You get the price but are unable to pay them back! All profit less the fees? Nasty business - avoid!

I don't think you are delusional at all.

I think you are a pumper and dumper , and timed your post suggesting a loss of 6+ years to affect trading, and you have , big time!

Paul Dolan uses the word "forward" without realising most punters have no idea what a "forward" trade is. It is very easy to assume your audience understands your words when you are surrounded by professionals all day long!

If I'd realised where BC was coming from I'd have mentioned derivatives but made the same mistake as Paul.

LL I hope you are feeling happier with you investment now. As I said on Tuesday in my post to you, you are in a good place! Even if carbon credits decline/disappear in future the timber trade looks well prepared , especially in Gabon.

You might consider TLOU's bargain price because investors there are misguidedly treating their Hydrogen partnership as if it is mickey mouse. They suspended operations on electricity throughout Covid (based in Australia , we could not even visit Botswana or leave Oz) and installation of transmission lines to the grid is now underway.

Our Hydrogen partner needs the gas we are producing currently to prove their forth-coming machine works and we have lost at least 6 months that could have been used to expand gas flows for electricity. This period confirms to the numbskulls that the board are useless!

This is our CEO's thrid CBM/power project! The previous 2 , in OZ , were sold for $1bn and £4bn, and he has always said Botswana offers cheaper production costs and higher sell prices!

And then Hydrogen became a possibility , not a certainty unless the prototype works , and the delay is justified! Carbon credits will enter the equation if it goes ahead!

Like WBI, the original mission is worthwhile and credits are a bonus if they happen!
In both cases we need to live long enough to see them come to fruition!

The whole point seems to be protect forests and benefit the world.

B|C you have a lot to learn - criticising people who know more than you is not clever and could be classed as fraudulent! I am sure you mean well but leave it to Dactions to lead this forum!

I am a novice is forestry issues but I worked in customer support for a software house in London with customers all over Europe and the UK and parts of Africa. Barclays, Investec, UBS Phillips and Drew, BP , and Banca di |Roma are names you might recognise and were amongst our customer base. I was also a contractor at Barclays International for a few years.

You need to read up on derivatives before trying to educate your betters!

Paul Dolan stated that the demand for partners is the least of his worries - sounds like he is fighting them off!!

He needs partners because Woodbois do not have the £100m to acquire the land the potential partners have!

That is now!!! If credits are as profitable following a few partnerships successes then Woodbois may be able to forget further partners and buy the land from profits!

And then the extra % (all of it) will speed up further acquisitions?

If that is too optimistic expect to us increasing our proportion of new partnerships, and our % return of course.

Dolan needs to watch out fir Oligarchs in disguise on huge yachts.
