Since I applied the Windows change to that top item , all my ridiculous typos have disappeared apart from genuine ones.
I now understand why I was getting some words duplicated out of position , and why 'it' became "is", and why obvious words went missing.
As I have said before, I cannot touch type and tilt my laptop to see the keys which makes viewing the screen difficult or impossible at times. The poxy little panel LSE defaults to means the errors are scrolled off screen before I get the chance to see them.
Resizing the box to proof read is a pain (scroll up to make room, and then drag the corner of the box to the size you want) so I often don't bother! And conversely , Windows suggests a word on the screen but requires a "tab" to accept it!
If I don't realise I did not type it myself, when I tilt the keyboard and continue typing , i.e. no tab key, the suggested word is rejected/removed!
I remember chukkers , years ago, suggesting that I might be accidentally touching the "touch pad" (I use a mouse) when tilting the machine - something he experienced for himself , and it seemed a good answer as to how text was appearing in random positions.
The real problem is typing in bed , lying on my back , so I need to tilt the keyboard to see it. But I don't have a reason to get out of a warm bed in the mornings. If it were not for Poppy's breakfast and to let her into the garden in case she needs to relieve herself (she virtually never does) I might never get up! Dog walks are essential too - I think she is my life tbh!
Mariupol almost take away my desire to live , so deflating! And Putin says there is no military operation at the steel-works! He might believe that if his army are liars like Moagi! And what is going on in Moldova.
I cannot think of a poster that experiences my typing problem here, but it has taken years to find a solution! I am going to replace highlight misspellings (which I probably do not see) with auto-correct and see how I get on with some deliberate typo errors.
Aljazeera featured a documentary on the dangers of Russia losing permafrost featuring the Zimov family.
I was rivetted to it and high;y recommend it (if it can be found) ..... an amazing family.
For an idea of the subject matter ..
