The gas can continue to be flared (total waste) , handed to SM (with huge rewards if SM achieve their aims) , handed to a Crypto miner (if they are still interested) , used to generate electricity now (which will be too early for the poles imho), ..--- what would we do with it? That least option rules out SM and Crypto! Not very bright imho!

The dates for the IPO are mildly optmimistic, the lack of news from them on the prototype is pessimistic.
TG has advanced the poles and wires and was always going to expand the number wells at Lesedi - but reneging on the SM partnership would be wrong on ...--- many fronts.

If TLOU keep you happy by dumping both SM and Crypto talks and chop our chances of getting an income the wasted flare then they will pee most of us off!
Especially if SM float successfully and news of a working prototype is that another CBM/Hydrogen company are filling Tlou shoes, you'll change your tune whilst abusing tlou for wasting a golden opportunity!
I suspect SM could get their CBM and Solar from an Australian company - e.g. one of TG's previous ventures - which must be easier than getting their kit set up in Botswana.

We had a previous fire when we were living d there but that was from the opposite direction and some houses lost windows and gutters from the heat in a similar fire. The fire brigades are amazing - both times they saved the houses.

Buckler is definitely NOT an alter-ego - their simultaneous posts on different boards (without warning that I was checking them) would be easy enough to do with two sessions running but I don't think one of the two is bright enough to think of that. My understanding , is that #3 and #4 are suffering the from the divergence of water and gas desorption highlighted in the Chinese article.

Pre-covid , imho (not gospel as claimed by my critic, I thought imho meant just that tbh) , #3 and #4 were expected to harmonise and all their gas and water would be recoverable at the surface with pumps or whatever.

Again, imho , I think Colm explained that #3 and #4 were production huge fluctuations if those flow pressures , and as a result they were fighting each other. The higher pressure well producing gas/water that forced it's way into the other well instead of rising?

Post-covid restrictions , we are keeping #3 and #4 in isolation from each other - so I assume that any positive pressure will produce gas/water that is collectable at the surface.

Additional wells may or may not be required to accelerate the dewatering but if my mental picture is accurate things should be improving either way. I see my nemesis has posted - I can only post on browsers where i am logged in so he is filtered here whatever he says and has been for months!

I have tried to find an article that Donkey might understand.
Dewatering articles quickly descend into massively complicated mathematics with all sorts of factors omitted to keep them , so called , simple!

I have consistently said that we have been dewatering on as shoe string budget during Covid with #3 and #5 playing no part after shutdown, and #4 on minimal extraction to reduce the risk of the coal finings being agitated by heavy rushes of water blocking the channels, self-defeating.

Donkey/Ass, Bottom Hole Pressure is the key to everything and these vary massively between boreholes - evidenced by Selemo and Lesedi. Selemo was fast , but had a back up borehole to assist.
That is a luxury denied to Lesedi during Covid but that option is now open (I hope).

Articles saying initial dewatering can take months or years , and TG confirming just that before we started on Lesedi, exist for one obvious reason - to most of us!

1. Introduction
Different from the conventional gas reservoirs, the coalbed methane (CBM) reservoir is developed mainly by dewatering, which leads to methane desorption after reservoir depressurizing [1]. When the pressure decreases to the critical desorption pressure, the methane will desorb from the coalbed matrix. The whole production process contains several stages, and the effective flow permeability is very different in each different stage [2]. Especially the water/gas rate, bottom hole pressure (BHP) and casing pressure change variously. Due to a lack of reasonable production strategies, the performance of CBM wells is quite imbalanced. The key problems are how to control the pressure drawdown of CBM wells at different production stages, as well as how to improve the performance. Pressure drawdown is the differential displacement pressure which helps to drive methane from a reservoir into the wellbore. Surface chokes and dewatering limits are conducive to controlling working fluid level (WFL) and the pressure drawdown, which can be effectively utilized to produce methane and avoid the damage caused by coal powder.
2. The Division of Production Stages
Due to the specificity of CBM, methane desorption and water drainage should be considered. Thus, the whole production process is divided into four stages: water drainage stage, gas rate rising stage, steady gas production stage and gas rate decline stage [22,23]. As shown in Figure 1, CBM wells only produce water in the initial water drainage stage for 0.5–1.5 year, with high water rate and remarkable fluctuation. "

As for realising how bright you have been all along - don't wish early dementia on me!!!!!

The only thing I learned from you ws in the early days when you said TLOU pay royalties to Sekaname or Kalahari Energy on our gas or electricity production at Selemo.

Even then I needed to research it for myself because you were so vague!

I believe it is why we moved to Lesedi with its unexpected dewatering problems rather than develop an already dewatered Selemo as the main site. 12% and 3% royalties depending upon whehter we make an income from the gas or generated electricity will be a lot of money saved utltimately. The royalties are based on the plot number and TG is too canny to throw money away.

From 2017 , we are not selling gas or electricity from Selemo , but are benefitting from the electricity - so whether royalties are payable, I dunno.

With dewatering comes peak gas flows , with peak gas flows comes everything we dream of?
The Crypto talks would have been much easier for TLOU if they had enough gas for both Synergen and the Crypto miner to both get started.

The pension fund (the party) went ahead because they clearly believe in TLOU whether they kick off with Serowe bound CBM power, Hydrogen or Local power for a Crypto miner. All 3 are not out of the question imho , one day!

I have been battling with problems posed by LSE , and the Greyhound Press years ago , when they both introduced the need to be logged in to be get more than read-only access to their sites. In LSE this means that the REPLY and RECOMMEND options are suppressed , and , afaik, my only access to a thread identity comes from the REPLY coding.

I am accessing the websites with the IE (version 11) object , named WebBrowser which will have it's own set of cookies.
LSE provide a login form so I am able to send my login details BUT THEY DO NOT SUPPORT version 11 of IE so the login fails!

My latest diversion is to employ the new to me EDGE Chromium object, which I think means switching from my preferred VBA to C# and maybe javascript (so difficult to debug and so easy to get wrong) a whole new learning process for an dog with fading short term memory.

Buckler, not sure how to address you politely , what has happened since 2018? And what could have improved that?

1. We expected Lesedi to be dewatered long ago, based on our experience at Selemo which took months.
2. TLOU warned us , and it has been backed up ever since by professionals , that initial dewatering of a site can takes months or years! Selemo was assisted by an additional well to speed up dewatering I think.
3. No doubt, Lesedi would have been assisted by extra bore holes but along came Covid and our finances were going to be stressed and imho TLOU could have failed at that time.
4. TLOU reduced the dewatering to an affordable level, relying only upon #4 and shutting off #3 and #5 instead of improving #5 to two wells and , maybe , adding further wells.
5. Financially, we seem to have survived the worst of the pandemic which is EVERYTHING for this start up imho.

6. Work is resuming at Lesedi and there goes the intervening period you questioned?

Things have been happily complicated in that period by the possibility of a Hydrogen industry partnership with Synergen , and if that is delayed , there is another use of our wasted gas flares , in the Crypto trade.

We were 15p in 2018 and the future then was entirely based on Serowe , with a similar timescale as now perhaps?
15 months now may be sooner than we expected in 2018? Add the new opportunities , sooner or later , and you see why I give this a strong buy!!! 15p then, and 1.8p now????? Sellers must be mad!!!!

There is so little news to consider while we wait for news from Synergen , I don't need a search engine.
If that news is not good enough to prioritise Hydrogen , then it leaves news that talks are progressing with a Crypto miner or we will be settled on the business we and the Pension Fund ivested in.

I'm of the view that if talks with our mysterious Crypto miner had ceased , then TG would be obliged to tell us that.

As to my football management , Parker played Jaidon Anthony for 90 minutes yesterday , and despite not playing that well , we won 3-0 away from home to a team that beat Fulham at their ground! Anthony did not have Zemura (injured) to partner to be at his best , but what he did was make Adam Smith's life easier by taking the load off him on the left and Adam assisted the first goal. We had two goal attempts and scored twice - but Coventry could not turn any of their many chances into goals. Funny old game indeed!

Solution is fairly simple.

If the first digit does not change then the other 5 are immaterial.

Digit one can only be 0 or 1 or 2.
It becomes 0 after 23hours, and 1 after 09 hours , and 2 after 19 hours!

After all the warnings about the roads being busy today, I left a bit early for the match and never got there quicker, was in my seat by 2:10pm! Watched the game in shirt sleeves - it was so warm.

I have been trying to train Poppy to bring me her treats ball to me in the utility. She can pickit up with her teeth, and when the treats cannot be shaken out, she brings it to me in the lounge no problem1
