RE: Toby Hall6 Dec 2017 11:42
A Takeover is indeed still on the cards sunday, or an alternative which will significantly increase Shareholder value - unlike AvC, Toby is very much focused on delivering that outcome as any who have spoken with him will know.
I actually spent a few hours with him a while back over more than a fair few drinks and the sentiment of increasing shareholder value was strongly emphasised multiple times. I believe I'm an astute enough judge of character to know when somethings genuinely heartfelt as opposed to a PR exercise - next rounds on you Toby btw ;)
From that perspective, irrespective of the current mkt cap, if MMX don't like the offer any potential buyer tables, it wont be accepted. We can look at industry multiples and other factors that may underpin a valuation but there are also examples where they're literally thrown out of the window.
A different case with specific differences easy enough to highlight but Wattsapps $20 billion + buyout on a revenue stream of a couple of million dollars.
What we do have is a Review process initiated by the unsolicited approach of several parties - we've progressed Operationally since then, as we're continually doing.
What we have in the meantime is a share price that has dropped due to very low trading volumes ie it's not particularly significant, especially for those looking towards an end point ROI from the aforementioned end point.
I personally believe there's a lot happening with potential suitors and MMX being in an enviable position due to the non replicability and limited alternative purchase avenues for those suitors.
The Review process will likely continue until the disparity between the respective party offers are reconciled, which would be very significantly greater than any recent mkt cap indications, if Toby Hall stays consistent with the approach he's carried through so far.
We should get back a multiple of the current share price, imho and look forward to a near term notification of such.
If funds were available, I would certainly be buying more MMX stock.
