Agree with the comments re: MMX running a really 'tight ship', unlike some other stocks that are as leaky as a rusty bucket. That's aside from numerous conversations I've had with TH in the past, where he's exercises absolute professionalism in that regard. Takeover or Merger? We don't know which way it'll go but do know that we had several unsolicited approaches, which instigated the Review in the first place. My view is that the extended duration of the review has been more about establishing the value to be attached to any Sale or Merger, rather than anything else - I think we have the interested parties at the table, who have retained interest with only a mutually agreed price as the final hurdle - the deal in principle may have been 'concluded some time ago. Speculation but with some probable basis imho, but we shall soon find out - I think any price agreed on will likely be considerably higher than the 13p share buy back level due to the large external investment made at that level. In many ways, I'm comfortable with any outcome as even a continuation of operations by the current management and ownership, would no doubt result in the dividend introduction I've been looking towards. Solid Buy at this level and I'm still looking to increase my holding for the reasons given. Good revenue generating company, solid growth & a significant near term upside on any Takeover/Merger deal concluded. Atb all

Some massive Buys indeed and probably facillitating some shedding of the lower entry placing stock - we must have worked through a fair part of that and accepting it's likely a portion will be held for the final outcomes of the multiple drills. Shaping up nicely for when we move into actual Operations with the drill bit turning and certainly some very impressive individual Buys today.

Agreed, those waiting for a dip associated to the Dividend payment, have seen it rise well beyond the days markdown at ex divi date. That's due to the aforementioned Strong Uptrend in place and which should continue to exert itself, given the factors its based upon. Abzza, I'm looking to increase my holding level based on further funds becoming available and the strength of fundamental factors underpinning a continuation of the aforementioned Uptrend. 'Buy low, sell high' is a bit if a simplistic statement to throw out and not considering the timeframe for investment I'm looking at as well as the obvious view towards an overall rising price within that timescale - I'm experienced (and successful) enough at investing to be confident in my approach regarding PFC. I'll let others look towards the fixation of every minor rise or dip ;) Atb

A Takeover within that timeframe and possibly much sooner, imo and for the reasons previously discussed. Good Contract wins, broker updates, �10M Director associated Buy and a more positive macro economic climate with a move towards consolidation within the sector. The Uptrend looks to be establishing itself Strongly, so beyond intra day (or very short term price transience), looking very Positive indeed. I think many have already messed up with trying to actively 'trade' this stock instead of riding the Trend Upwards - however, each to their own. I'm looking to increase my holding here in line with the Massive confidence shown by those much better informed of the Company direction / sector, than those of us sharing insights here ;) Atb all

That doesn't even take into consideration the massive Upside on any commercial oil find - more compelling as Mike Buck (CEO) refers to one target as more an 'Apraisal' drill due to its adjacent location next to a known producing area. Important enough an investment Opportunity to have some skin in the game at least. ONWARDS & UPWARDS!

Sometimes it helps to think outside the box - learn to Meditate, do it every day even if its for only 10 mins) and enjoy the moment....... whatever Life throws up is much easier to traverse that way. Hope that adds to the convo and saves alto1 from 'topping himself', lol We have a great recovery prospect here in PFC and no doubt further Contract News to be released. I'm actually going to try and pick up some stock, now that we've reached the juncture of conclusion of the review (as always, will post my Buy when/if dealt to validate such). You may have a point there sunday re: only regulatory aporoval needed now. Atb all

I think the Management have been getting on with things just fine with their time, as evidenced by the progress made on all other fronts, lol. The conclusion if the ongoing discussions would necessarily have been linked to the Review being completed, that now being the case. No doubt communications in the meantime would have agreed many points regardless. No doubt we'll have further News very shortly and perhaps even a wider spectrum of other parties looking to capitalise on the expanding sector - looking particularly to China based interests. I'm certainly looking forward to the 'wheelings & dealings' to realize 'maximum shareholder returns' as Toby Hall puts it. Atb

Is it just a question of agreeing a price for the sale of MMX to the other Party(ies) and at a high enough price to maximise Shareholder return! We'll soon find out but good to see the Company continue to grow and make operarional progress in the meantime - a Takeover or Dividend introduction is good for me either way. Atb all

I don't really follow what the price does on a daily basis but am more interested in the underlying trend, which looks to be firmly Upwards. Along with that, we've had the broker upgrades of course, which in isolation sometimes may not mean much, but certainly reflect the strong prospects moving forward for Petrofac. The writing for Recovery was certainly on the wall, when the CEO was associated with the �10M share purchase recently. Personally, feel very Good holding PFC stock also. Atb all

Don't have a clue tbh and not overly interested in daily price movements, even with positive Newsflow - what I do expect is the overall Uptrend to continue over the coming weeks & months, with further Contracts notified to the market through official RNSs. Petrofac, like ALL major companies, has a debt it services and in line with how business is conducted in such comercial environments - and like those major companies, is able to provide a Dividend payment to Shareholders. The $190M will furter add to the balance sheet. In the longer term, I'm looking for the price to trend upwards in line with recovery, to the previous 1000p+ forecasts, albeit for various reasons (as discussed previously), I strongly anticipate a move to acquire Petrofac and in line with the Merger trend in the sector. dyor etc

Recovery certainly establishing itself well and positive broker upgrades that we've seen - new contracts and the completion of the asset sale should certainly contribute strongly to the balance sheet, amidst a Strengthening macro economic environment. The broker upgrades should further stimulate increased institutional inward investment and reflect Petrofac's position as an excellent recovery prospect with a strong share price uptrend in place.
