Let’s be honest. We will never know the reason why the share price is moving in either direction whilst it is happening.

What drives a share price is appetite. The reasons would almost always be revealed after the fact so either of us could be right and as soon as we actually know it’s irrelevant!

Better to take the helicopter view and not get bogged down in one facet. Need to look at all the moving parts imo.

You are suggesting that Geopolitics, world events, and broader economic factors among other things have no influence on the share price? That it is as you say scientific data and deals alone (clearly expectations that differ from person to person and you know the minds of such people) are the only influencing factors of the share price?

My theory is that we saw a 35% dip on the lead up to Russian invasion of Ukraine. We are likely going through similar as the West comes to terms with a Trump and Putin bromance. Europe basically sidelined and Zelenskyy being frozen out, so no wonder investors are hesitant.

Just a short term market jitter basically. Not to trivialise Ukraine obviously. It’s terrible that they will get thrown under the bus.

There was one previously but that was maybe a couple of years ago. Scancell have focused on UK for current trials

Worth speaking to your broker about other types of listings and how they may effect you. Especially if you hold in a SIPP or ISA. It might be that if you have a cheap or crappy broker they might not even deal with certain stocks on certain markets. If they say let me get back to you then its a red flag.

Basically Violin is right. Consolidation will not change your investment in any material way. Violin makes the point about dilution and yes. What ever degree of dilution has been experienced by particular shareholders persists before or after consolidation.

A consolidation can help the company access funding, investment, and other markets. For example a fund may want to invest but they may be restricted from investing in stocks that have a low share price or market cap etc. or they may only invest in Aussie stocks or Canadian stocks etc.

Some private investors like to invest in companies that have a low number of shares in issue (2 to 400m as an example) as they believe that they are less likely to be diluted! They are mistaken however as one is only diluted when holding shares in a company announces a raise. You cannot be diluted for raises before you held.

Just some examples

Some bad companies (not Sclp) can use a consolidation as part of a broader deception. There are many examples.

It will come down to what someone is willing to pay for Scancell or an independent asset as it stands. I certainly don't see Scancell demanding a particular sum as they do not hold the purse strings. More likley they have sounded out a deal and are working towards it. Either that or they are working towards a deal. Hopefully with the higher caliber company officers on board they understand the nuances and etiquette. The bod should already know where this is headed. Likley Redmile and Vulpes too as the occupy positions on the bod AND they will not only be party to sensitive information but they will have acted upon in at the appropriate time. So this could mean that Scancell are or have already aligned itself to suitor to make a match. No point guessing on time lines. On the other hand it could be another Destiny Pharma. But with RM and V taking part in the latest raise it looks likely that something is in the offing. A small deal or big deal but they were happy to take more which they would expect not to be diluted. Unless they are stupid.

Well sold well over half of my holding here. At these levels not worth selling more but glad my exposure has been cut down and my hedge worked out. This company has excellent prospects but it is clear that I got in too early and the dilution phases have been catastrophic for some and really tough to manage for those that know what they are doing.

Now the situation is clear; registration trial funding needs to be decided. Then it may become investable again. That would be after the final dilution.

I am speaking of course from the p.o.v of an investor and not a fanboy.

What has happened these last weeks is proof to me that I did not buy enough of these in the first place so if people are crazy enough to keep selling then I will add at cheaper prices.

The Company handing over its tech is a throw away statement. No meat on the bone as usual. I would like people to explain exactly what this would look like, just so we know the theory is not half baked.

I was going to mention finances and Scancells need to focus. I am sure Lindy mentioned this some time ago as well and it was discussed here. Broad consensus then was it's sensible and responsible approach with almost too many shots on goal and a need to focus.

I wonder if you have a view on Immunotherapy being less efficacious in ovarian cancers; it works in certain types better than others? With H & N and renal they may be more effective so more certainty for Modi 1.

Phil is a data kind of guy. So much for having any vision or motivating the investor base. Does he even know we exist? Clearly he does; Scancell is a public listed company. Common sense says he knows there are shareholders. If he took the trouble then I bet he could find out who each and every one of us are! So, why doesn't he speak to us? But he does don't you reckon? Redmile and Vulpes surely have been spoken too. Why do I know this? Because they are on the board of directors. Soooo, it's just you and me then. We are the ones left in the dark with only the regular ex Company officers "experienced" imaginings for comfort. Literally I can speak to anybody on the planet. I can do it in seconds. I can make people feel good or bad. Laugh or cry. Thats the beauty of communication. Its real easy. Its possible. Very possible. Easily possible...

I don't think people are threatened by non Scancell posts that refer to the either the Biotech market or news relating to its peers. The Company has done an excellent job outlining its intentions and reporting progress towards these aims and I believe this is well understood by all. You and EE seem to have appointed yourselves "noble guardians" based on a fear that the rest of us are feeble minded sheep that maybe inclined to jump off the nearest building. Not so! I can assure you. I will continue to ignore the pair of you and make my own mind up thanks.
