I intend to sell very small amounts somewhat as JS suggests. Why? Because this is a growth stock and if you actually run a spread sheet, selling 5% even twice a year with a growth stock such as GGP will mean you get to take some money and only after 10 or 20 years would you no longer have a holding. Also when we do get dividends it will just bump up the pay day or increase the holding. In the case that it increases the holding I see little difference.
The alternative is not to have a plan and impulsively sell all or a large share of ones holding and have regrets. In other words be an emotional investor. Personally I have a plan but each to their own.
