Violin,
Nice factual reply in your first paragraph. Second one pretty much on the money also.
I would say LD has not misled shareholders. I am sure that in raising capital she believes she has done her duty to the assets. If you were to ask her where the value is to shareholders she would look perplexed at the stupidity of the question; because she does not understand what shareholder value looks like. She is focused on the assets and she would see the advancement of the assets as adding value to the shareholders (erroneously). This is where she is deficient and the market knows it. The knack of being a truly great leader is advancing the assets and giving shareholders great value. The two are inextricably linked but seperatley must be kept healthy and in prime condition as each need to compliment one another. She has shown her limiations and been replaced. So yes, I share your anticipation to hear from the new CEO as I need to understand sooner rather than later what his vision sounds like. Presumably he has spoken to the troops? I guess...
You see if the company looks after its shareholders (which have shown ultra loyalty to stick through so much time and dilution) those investors can reap the rewards and continue to re-invest in the company. If you break your shareholders bank balance and spirit, with the best of intentions they just cant support the company.
In conclusion the sharehiolders have been ground down here. A culture change would instantly reinvigourate them.
