I went out about 2.30 when we were at 148 something, and just checked back in expecting something like 147. I was pleasantly surprised - and that doesn't happen often.
COME ON / DOM PERIGNON!

Prosecco? Babycham? Even during a cost of living crisis, certain standards should be maintained, dear boy(s).
I wonder what beverage will be appropriate for this time next week(post results). I intend to put a bottle of Dom Perignon, a can of Tenants' Extra, and a can of Top Deck in the fridge - all eventualities covered.

A little disappointed to not hold 150, but EZJ gave up almost all of their earlier gains, so not too bad overall. DOW/Nasdaq surged later on in the afternoon, so hoping that helps us have a positive start tomorrow. Unfortunately another 3 day weekend coming up, so strong nerves required to hold going into next weeks figures.
What will be, will be.

Been stuck here at Camp 2 for quite a while now, due to poor visibility, exhaustion, and lack of fresh supplies. Certain amount of restlessness and disquiet within the group - the more gung-ho members are growing impatient, and are agitating for an all-out, never-say-die assault on the summit. Other more cautious members are feeling dispirited and exhausted, and think we should abort the entire expedition, and return to Base Camp prior to a full evacuation. Others, such as myself, have mixed feelings, and are just waiting to see how things develop. We spend most of our time playing cards, and drinking tea or coffee - although we unfortunately have run out of biscuits. Some of the group have even resorted to eating hob-nobs, which is quite pitiful really. Personally, I would rather eat yak faeces - but that's just me.
Anyway, I suppose the situation will eventually resolve itself one way or the other. In the meantime, I think I will return to my tent, and crawl inside my sleeping bag for a snooze. Feeling sleepy... very sleepy.....

ACis. - I never set out to deliberately offend anyone (including you) - although I do occasionally get a bit carried away (mea culpa). That said, the post to which you refer is, I think, very banal and generic, and certainly not aimed at anyone in particular - unlike your personal attack on me.
Anyway, as far as I can tell, nobody here is obliged to read posts that they don't want to - so if you are easily offended (you clearly are), you may want to consider that option..

Skindle - I wouldn't have thought it possible, but I find myself more confused than ever. Hammers/ candlesticks/ teacups? Sounds more like Miss Marple/ Murder She Wrote. At least I managed to "buy the dip" a few weeks back. At £1.57 ffs.
Fordm - welcome back. As you say, not much has changed- still stuck in this narrow price range. Oh for the dizzy heights of £1.73 just a couple of months back.
At least we have the coronation to look forward to (or so I am constantly being told). A day to look forward to, when the whole country can unite after an awful few years, temporarily forget how s**t our lives have become, and us peasants can come together, and stand by the side of the road, waving our shi**y little flags, hoping that our rulers (owners?) in the gold carriage will deign to wave to us, and possibly toss us a few crumbs/grains of rice. Not to mention having to put up with the ginger whinger having a moan about how badly he's been treated, how awful us commoners are, and how tough his life is, before getting back into his private jet, and fu**ing off back to his California mansion and deluded wife. Of course, even saying that marks me out as a vile ******. Oh well.
Anyway, that's todays little rant over - wonder what tomorrows' will be? To be honest, with the shambolic mess the country is currently in, there's almost too much to choose from. I'm sure I'll find something.

IAG, on the other hand, is stuck on stand - a combination of technical issues, a restricted take-off slot, and a pilot suspected of being inebriated. Could be here for a while. Some of the passengers are running low on patience, and becoming quite agitated. I intend to have another vodka and coke, and read my book.

Anyway ( he said - apparently talking to himself) - we seem to be stuck in this 140/150 range. At some point there will be a breakout, just depends whether it's upwards or downwards ( I'm hoping for the latter).
Given the sporadic nature of posts here, I will take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.

Used to be that this board was busy, and the EZJ board was very quiet - now that board is busier than here.
What's going on?

I've been holding here for a little while, and sometimes pop in to see "what's occurring?" - but haven't posted - I post mainly on the IAG board - where I am also a holder. Anyway, in The Times today, there were 3 articles about EZJ. One was neutral, one was (marginally) negative, and the other was very positive. Either way, i don't think I have ever seen 3 articles about one company on the same day, so we are obviously drawing a lot of attention.
Today was a little disappointing, but I am still holding. From the price today, and with the company fundamentals extremely sound, I see way more upside potential than downside. I think £6.00 plus by year end is very achievable, and possibly more.
Anyway I'm not selling anytime soon - although that is (obvs) just my opinion. Good luck to all genuine holders here.

Skindle - I concur.
I am just quite happy that I diversified my (meagre) portfolio to include Rolls and EZJ, which have both done nicely for me - and helped dig me out of the hole that IAG (and myself) had dug ourselves into. Still in more deeply than I would really like - but not so deeply that I can't allow it a bit of time. Don't need that money just now ( or at least until the paternity test results come back) so just need a bit of patience.
