There's a poker game going on between OPEC+ and the US with regards oil price and global demand is the blind card. OPEC+ are keeping supply on tight reins so when demand card is revealed, if it holds up, oil price will rise through 2H. Place your bets. Will be interesting to see stock draw/build figures later. With US closed today hopefully we won't see usually afternoon pull back

DD,all investments are a gamble,some more riskier than others. Tlw is not akin to a lottery 'punt', albeit it is higher risk. But how risky? Well odds of winning the lottery are about 1 in 45 million,you do the %. My thoughts on potential Tlw SP catalysts(feel free to give your own):

Jubilee increased production - 75% chance of positive outcome

Favourable Ghana gas deal - 60%

Oil price staying above 80 $/bbl 2023-24 - 50%

Favourable Kenya FDP deal - 25%

Ghana tax dispute- complete unknown, 0-100%, take your punt.

I think if first 3 in this list happen,we should move back to 40-60p range. If Kenya comes off, 60-80p.

These are not unreasonable, lottery winning type odds. So yes, it's a gamble but not a 'punt'.

Agree Anton. Jubilee production lift,Ghana gas deal,Kenya FDP approval, oil price recovery, resolution of Ghana tax disputes, etc. All/most of these could align in 2H 2023 and have a very positive impact on the SP. But,as derampers/shorters will point out, none of them could move in favourable way and it will be very bad 2H for Tullow. No-one knows for sure, which makes it all the more exciting/hopeful

Well put Andoman. People like DD,Kansas(Patel),Slater could be here for a number of reasons. 1. They're short. 2. They want price lower to buy in. 3. They're some junior intern paid to be here to deramp. 4. They're not mentally well. Of course it could be a mix of more than one of these but as they are all too cowardly to admit why they're here,we can but assume and tolerate their games
