I was invested in the following stocks when Foil occurred.
PMO ,,,, Solan
IAE …. Stella
PMO ,,,. Catcher
If I remember correctly, Foil was a bit of a disappointment as far as SP was concerned as everyone expected a large rise.
But I think HUR Foil will be different in so much that there are still lots of doubters who will change their mind as soon as all the 72 hour tests are completed successfully.

Thanks for link … it was nice to be reminded that flow rate from AM will be 40k bopd once gas disposal has been sorted and GWA tie back from Lincoln or Warwick Deep is complete.
Free cash flow should be then way over $400 million per year (plus anything from sale of gas).

In 2018, the company produced 666 thousand barrels of oil equivalent (4,070,000 GJ) per day
In our wildest dreams, HUR will not be in that league.

I found this article, that was printed back in 2012 about possible RKH takeover, to be quite interesting.
Shame that they chose Premier Oil instead of Cairn or one of the others!

Although that's factual … is it fair comment?

Previous high was 67.90p on 4/May/17 but there are twice as many shares outstanding now so it's almost twice the market value now than it was then.

Previous high market value was when SP reached 60.75p on 2/Oct/18 (when PoO shot up into the 80's), so we're pretty close to that again now.

The flaring is a new chapter in the Hurricane story, which should cause a spike in the SP tomorrow but It will probably settle back down until the next really exciting chapter occurs when FOIL is officially announced … hopefully in about 3 weeks time.

In your experience, how long do they normally run an initial oil flow test on a drilling rig ?.
At 15000 bpd they'd pretty soon run out of storage space … or do they just run it for a couple of hours or so?

Wellwell suggested that they should have run the tests @ 15000 bpd for a month … that's a tanker full!

Malcy once said that investing in HUR was like paying £5 for £20 bills … (I don't remember what the SP was at the time he said that).
If he honestly believes that (which he obviously does) then in my mind, that's not ramping.

Thanks for the clarification … I hadn't fully understood that hedges are purely paper transactions.

If BP have agreed to purchase 100% of oil from Lancaster (I assume @ market price), will Hurricane ever be able to hedge any of it's oil ?
I brought up this point once before but don't remember getting a clear answer.

That's ironic because I used to have my own lobster boat off the Welsh coast at Barmouth … but after being seasick every day for 6 months, I gave it up and returned to my previous life as a computer software developer with IBM.

Another naïve question if I may.
When going back to re-drill a hole (for whatever reason) how do they find the hole again … it must be pretty dark down there.
