The AokaMizu only has a capacity of 30,000 bpd .... I think Navitas wanted to initially process 60,000 bpd in the first phase of Sea Lion..
One thing, that Tamboran and Falcon have in common, is that they're both going to run out of money in the future. A solution would be to sell a chunk of their acreage to a bigger company and split the proceeds 77.5%/22.5%.
The sooner the better.
After the farm out to Premier, there were a few wells drilled. Did RKH use some of the carry or did they pay their share completely themselves ?

It looks like we were both typing at the same time ... but you explained it slightly better than I did.
I'm probably wrong but this is how I see the situation.
I seem to remember that, after Premier walked away, the £64 million CGT was negotiated down to about £32 million ... to be paid after first oil.
RKH are negotiating with a 3rd party who want to purchase the OM claim but the 3rd party are worried that if/when ROI pay the money over to RKH then FIG will try and grab a prior claim to some of the money.

I don't think it works like that. Each individual acre is only 22% owned by FOG ... they can't just chop bits off and sell to a third party. If that WAS the case then FOG could just pick the best blocks to sell.
Paul and The Bear,
Thanks, it sounds very encouraging that things are really starting to happen at last.
Hi Paul
Could you tell me what it said ... I don't do Facebook.
thanks
It states that Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management Ltd. hold 29.23m shares.
Are they totally for HL or does that include all the shares that it holds on behalf of those people that hold RKH shares in an HL account ?
Many of us on this board have been waiting 10 years or more for things to start happening with Sea Lion and it could be another year before things really start to progress. But one consolation is that it is a well known scientific fact that time goes faster as we get older ... one exception is time actually goes slower when waiting for a bus.

I too was being driven mad by adverts on this site but now I use Total Adblock ...
no adverts .... loads much faster ... such sweet relief ... worth every penny..
If Sea Lion ever does take off, perhaps we should hold a party and ask Paul McCartney if he'll come and sing 'Here comes the Sun' !!!

Mogger .... I don't think the Aoka Mizu is big enough ... it can only process about 30k barrels/day, whereas I thought that they were going for 55k .
When PMO arranged the carry with RKH didn't they also give them a large amount of cash ( can't remember exact amount but was about $250 million ) ?
Was the tax ever paid on that amount ?
The Minister states "I am clear that the UK cannot remain in an unmodernised Treaty that does not align with our unwavering commitment to energy security and net zero.."
'Energy security' and 'net zero' don't belong in the same sentence.
I started this thread with a question so does anyone know the answer ?
The 22% of Beetaloo is owned by Falcon Oil and Gas Australia.
Falcon Oil & Gas Australia Limited is a c. 98% subsidiary of Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd.
Question :- Would the whole of FOG be up for sale or just the Australian subsidiary ?
