Mike33 This was the comment made by someone living in Texas.
Ambrose,
As a Texan all I can say to you is come to Texas to meet your future!
I invite you and your family to come and join my family in our spacious home without lights, heat and water. But on one condition that you remain with us in this condition for 7 days.
How do we charge our EV with the windmills frozen! At least we have fuel stored in containers for our 'legacy' internal combustion engine vehicles. By the way the local grocery stores have run out of food. Fortunately I have numerous weapons by which I can protect you and your family when the angry mobs with even less come calling.
You will undoubtedly decline my offer.
As we say in Texas you are all hat and no cattle!
I cannot imagine what London, Birmingham and Manchester will look like when your 'green future' arrives. And it certainly will!
In that day you may just recognize that 'Green energy' (and global warming) is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on humanity!
You and your family, with millions of energy starved Britons, will be crying out for the reliability and low cost of coal, natural gas, oil, or even nuclear over the rigged market for disastrous 'green energy'

The top comment in the list is well worth reading and forebodes what could happen here one day if the green nonsense continues.
It's nice to see HUR going up for a change but it's very frustrating that none of us seem to have any idea why ... whereas somebody with inside information obviously does.

The cyclical nature of the oil industry could be different this time round because more and more energy is being provided by UV panels and wind power.
But on the other hand, a lot of this new energy is coming from the big oil companies, like Shell and BP, who are cutting back on the search for oil themselves.
Strange that no-one else seems to find the Rockhopper Penguins funny ... I suppose years of watching RKH (I myself have been in for 6 years now) has dampened everyone's sense of humor.
But things should really start to buck up as soon as PMO merger is complete and the Covid19 Virus starts to disappear.
Looks like RKH is not sure which way it's going ... bit like its namesake.

Looks like most of shorts have closed although there weren't that many anyway.

RKH usually trades a few hundred thousand shares a day ... now its in the millions.
Maybe it's the Italian Govt. hoping to get some of its money back ?
Week old news but have not seen it before.

So much for renewables.
At this very moment in time, Wind is supplying 2.86 % and Solar 0.0 % of our power.
A large Israeli study seems to prove D3 helps to prevent Covid-19.
Interestingly, D3 in liquid form seems to be more beneficial than tablets.

I stand corrected.
You're right.

According to this article, output will only be 140000 to 155000 bpd next year ... not 200000 bpd.

Catcher looks like a giant jungle gym !
The main reason that PMO is in such a mess is because of SOLAN being such a disaster.
I don't think that is all Tony's fault.

The RNS in september quoted
"Considering oil produced to end August 2020, remaining 2P reserves at 1 September 2020 are estimated at 9.4 MMbbls (subject to economic limit test)."
So at 14000 bpd thats just over 5 million per year meaning the tank will be empty in less than 2 years. What then ?
