Why does a tin-pot, AIM company have 52% of the UK's shipyard footprint? If proper, FTSE-listed, players wanted the yards, surely they would have them? They were defunct for a reason, therefore I ascribe a value to the yards of zero. As does the market. If there is no interest at any price, what is the value? All I see are massive cash black holes.
JW wants to focus on engineering that can't be carried out elsewhere. As I have asked repeatedly, what secret sauce does he bring to the party that the likes of BAB or BAE don't possess, because, sure as sheet, there is nothing intrinsically special about the white elephants has he lumbered us with?
