Flakey, where do you get your info, can’t see it on shorttracker
Ameriprise have been increasing their holding, nice to see the latest increase from 3.28% in sept up to 5%
Corporates piling in, nice to see ….
I have always looked on the very conservative side with any investments. lets wait and see and lets hope 2022 at some point, is the start of positive news coming through. I remember Chris Bogart saying mentioning Burford would become a much higher valued company in the future, i think he was referring to 2022 onwards, so i'm taking his word for it. i have 55,000 shares so could well be a time to give up the day job when this is reflected in the SP.
Check out TW's report its lengthy and the valuation is towards the bottom of the report.

Looking ahead, and once the pandemic settles and markets adjust accordingly.
If Petersen settles out of court, this according to various reports would increase the SP by around £5. Burford should generate more cash next year due to its larger investment portfolio of cases, lets say the SP increases by £2 based on this. This would give an increase of £7 . I would not be surprised to see the SP getting to £14.50 by the end of summer.
Flakey , are you a total fruitcake ?
What a totally useless post
looks like the text book pattern, might see another up turn now
For those who havn't read this detailed analysis of Burfords Value............
https://traviswiedower.com/
Burford valuation according to Travis Wiedower at :
https://traviswiedower.com/
you can read the full article on his web page but he
refers to Burfords Share Price Valuation, with particular refernce to Peterson.
He believes Burfords Petersen case if won is worth (on its own)between $5 - $15.
If this were added to the current share price we would be looking at $17- $27.
Maybee this is one reason why the SP is picking up.
SP is slowly ticking up towards interim results, wouldn't surprise me if we see 9.75/10.00 in 2 weeks.
I have a feeling the SP will get above the last recent high of £9.58. Possibly £10-£11.50.
This is my feeling, but this would require a strong set of results. I am not a chartist just thinking that if Burford continue with consistent strong results the SP will reflect that.
GTX,
thanks for your positivity in your last post, I also share that positivity with regard to future. I would be rather pleased when Burford get to £24 a share as you suggest, particularly as I have 50,000 shares.
My point is, how did you value Burford at this , and what sort of timescale do you envisage ?
GTX, ,
Re your view,
I couldn't have put it any better myself,
This company is definitely the Big Bagger.
It means we are about to head north with the SP , fasten your seatbelt, we will be flying shortly !
Jammy,
I'm also not certain what has been the cause of the rises, but I beg to differ on the news !
We have had news coming through.
1. Results
2. Directors buying
3. The Russian Settlement
4. The Steinhoff Settlement
5. Restored dividend
Plus other bits ....
All being positive news
Jammy , you say the price rises are not normal.
Take a look at the 5yr chart and you will notice that price rises are infact sudden and significant.
The same can be said for the price dropping, although I do hope that we see the rises that we saw in 2017 - 2019 coming back.
Knuttie,
Do we really need to know
Another £2 you think ?
$13 + tomorrow then
Looking at the chart, I think its going to take off again
