I don’t think Argentina are in a position to make decisions at the moment. Elections today, then they will need to install a new government. I think Judge Preska’s timing is perfectly planned to work with the new government. I ammo expert but I don’t think Judge Preska would target any specific Argentine assets herself. Any decisions made by Argentina will need to be passed through government including the payment of a bond.

The key dates have been posted by Sebastian MARRIL. Sometime in November should show something happening unless it goes to trail without a bond !

do you mean it will cost them 1.4 billion, you state it will cost us. Please clarify

FFC, just imagine if Burford were to invest let’s say, 1 billion from the proceeds from Argentina. I’m not a mathematician, but that sum put to work on new cases would return colossal amount. Yet the proceeds are in fact going to be much greater. With cases in average taking 2-3 years, I don’t see a problem with 60 pounds for a share price in 10 years or indeed much less. Burford is the “Compounding Machine”

Burford is a complex company to understand and the history of why the share price is where it is.

You would need to do a good amount of research and reading to fully understand the value it currently presents

YPF: With a final ruling (it is not yet) for USD 16,000 M, Arg. will be adding interest at 9% annually until it negotiates an agreement with Burford and the rest of the beneficiaries.

- We are talking about USD 1,440 M annually.

- The next government must evaluate a new legal strategy.

Definately the compounding interest I like to see

FFC I much prefer the title Compounding Machine to Litigation Powerhouse as mentioned by the Times article.

That’s the way I see Burford. For all those in the Financial world that did not know about Burford; You only need to Google “Burford Capital” and the news is plastered all over. This will open up new investors surely.
